I knew deep down, even as a teen devouring books on reincarnation and astrology, that this everyday grind wasn’t it. But it took a profound shake-up-losing my bio mother unexpectedly-for that knowing to ignite a fire under me.
The reality of mortality hit home, and it wasn’t morbid. It was a wake-up call, a call to truly live.
We all get caught up in life's shuffle though, don’t we? And it’s so easy to fall asleep again. But there's always been a voice within me, nudging, whispering that something greater awaits.
The realization that we won't be here forever makes you think: what do I want to do while I still can? For me, it means experiencing the grandeur of the redwoods. It might be different for you, but that's the magic of it. Each of us has our own "redwoods."
So let’s step into this together. Let’s acknowledge what truly matters to us and take those brave steps forward. Not easy, I know. But necessary.
