@Ruan K, you are correct - Texpad does import most packages but I had some difficulty with a custom package that watermarks GitHub version information in the footer of your document. This cannot be done with Texpad if you buy it off the App Store. I spoke to the Texpad team and they said there is an easy way to move your license off the App Store and download it from their site. @Diego I'll take a note of it and try publish it sometime in the near future - thanks for the recommendation!
whats bad about the standard latex documentation and how is the texpad one better? could you elaborate a bit? i havent used either but wanna look into it.
Could anyone explain how to use plain TeX in Texpad? I have Texpad 1.9.2 running on an iMac 2019 under OS 10.14 Mojave. I have many old files in plain TeX that I created and compiled under the old Texture implementation on the Mac. Thanks
Thanks! it helped me to reset my project document which had gone bizzaire. Appreciated
Very insightful and simple, thank you.
Hi! Thank you very much for this. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on importing and using LaTeX packages with Texpad. Regards
would be perfect to see
(though the app claims it automatically downloads the packages)
@@RaOneK Yes I just realised it after commenting! My bad.

Nice video. generally you ALWAYS want to add the .DS_STORE file to the global .gitignore
Good tip! Will definitely do so!
