Hi there! Another one of my early transcriptions that needed some love. It's been corrected and re-edited, I also added the chord grids. Have fun!

This one holds a special place in my heart as it was one of the first transcriptions I learnt on my journey through jazz almost ten years ago. Thank you François!

That coda is almost a composition in its own right, and achingly beautiful. It ended too soon! Thanks, Francois, for (re)posting this. -Tom

Oh how I love this! Did you ever transcribe "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead"? It's mind-blowing!

Beautiful song and beautiful work, François!
My ear can't stop hearing a meter change at bar 46, from “3” (specifically 3 groups of 2) to “2” (specifically, 2 groups of 3, often transcribed as “6/8”).

In bar 6, is it not Em/C#?

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว

No but I just checked and there's a mistake, the bass note is suppose to be a C... so Cmaj7. Thanks!

Very nice arrangement. He was never a good improviser and not a real jazz guitarist but he shined in moments like this.

Another reason to stop playing these Thomastick Infeld flat wound heavies on my solid body...I'm getting too old for these! And they don't ring!

I switched back to rounds on my archtop around a year ago and don't think I'll go back to flats again!
