Glide 'n Go Transfer Lift Seat in Lifted Jeep Wrangler Sahara (entering, with wheelchair stowage) ^

This video shows using the Glide 'n Go to lift a person into the driver's position of a Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2015 - Current, then pick up the wheelchair and place it in the vehicle. Please note that this vehicle has an extra 6" of height due to the off-road package and oversized tires. Transferring from the wheelchair to the Glide 'n Go does require that the driver be able to lift him/herself up that additional 6" from the wheelchair to the Glide 'n Go.

I 'm diving a BraunAbility Grand caravan from my Powered Chair and its perhaps the easiest way for me to have personal transportation. Although a mini van is "NOT" my top vehicle choice it's the best one for my injury. Still dreaming of owning a 4x4 Pickup someday... Next time you hit the off road trails (or lack of.. Lol) please think of me. ✌🏻️

Dont need to disassemble the chair You can recline and roll the chair over you into the back passenger seat . Did this with a 1 ton dually for years as a C 6-7 quad . He Made this 100% more complicated than needs to be :)

Not everyone has the strength to do a clean lift and jerk! Being a para myself for over 30 years I learned early on not to judge others based on injury level!

Excellent video. I drive a Honda Element. That transfer seat is a great idea.
You make it look easy although I know it takes a lot of strength and you are around 6’2” I am guessing. Great transfer and awesome courage. Keep on rolling brother.

we can go lower on certain suicide door pickups and SUVs, and of course the Easy-Reach is available for certain vehicles and can go lower than the sill plate in certain instances. Thanks for your input!
