Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure. The show that lasted 26 years in Universal Orlando. Ended Saturday November 4th. Information from someone who does social networking for Universal even says that the fans can bring it back if they have the support. Dedicating just one podcast or show, will help it tremendously. A show that evolves every night with improv to make fun of the current times. They're amazing cast and crew some may love to help discuss this with you. There wasn't any dry eyes on the finale show where every year they go purposefully go off-script and break rules to make a fun and beautiful send-off for the year. A tradition that ended so recently and I hope you can help. Thanks for just considering it, Kevin
A fascinating subject would be the lost Coney Island wooden coaster, the Thunderbolt, it's unique construction on top of a house, and the way it laid in limbo for decades decaying into a post apocalyptic ruin with decreasing hope of reopening before it was slain by Rudy in 2000. But I can imagine material suitable for a video may be hard to come by.
I SOOOO agree that the stories told in the parks need to be at least somewhat original!! It drives me nuts how reliant disney is on pre-established content....patehtic!
While doing post-graduate work at UCLA, I freelanced for Universal Studios Creative - the division handling theme park rides and attractions. Back then, it said it was open to outside ideas and concepts for franchises it owned. It was interesting and challenging work, but the in-house staff never seemed overly helpful, and even appeared a little paranoid when engaging with creative types from the "outside." My supervisor later moved over to Disney, so that may have changed.
Can we get an episode more focused on Bill and Ted from the Orlando Show? The the current actor for Ted is very active on twitter @JasonMightRiot (Jason Perry) and there is @MrFurious32821 (James Keaton) who played in the early B&T (and who also is Jack the Clown/Grinch) I would really love to see that
Agreed please the last show for public and team member ended with tears and heartache we would love for a podcast being that most footage of recent years were prohibited because they make fun of current events of that year like they make fun of Moana and Star Wars without permission but just good ol' fair use. The same fair use that youtubers fight for. I would love to help out with anything Kevin.
Hey I got my start in the Theme Park industry at the Magic Mountain too, now I work at Disneyland. It's like being promoted only until two weeks ago Magic Mountain paid better.
Hey Kevin, any possibility on a video about the amazing, yet sorely missed SEGAWorld Sydney park? It's something I always wanted to go to as a wee Aussie but it was sadly closed down before I managed to make it there.
Could you please do anything on Canada's Wonderland? Pretty much everyone in Southern Ontario has been and it would mean the world to us. I don't even know what to do in that park, maybe the Smurf Cave? That's probably the most interesting thing the park ever had
I'd really love to see something about german parks. We used to have Warner Bros. Movie World here which went through some changes in owners and rebranding of the rides, also Phantasialand where one of the atractions burned down :'D But even with only content of parks and rides i never seen and never been to I LOVE your channel.
Hi Kevin Perjurer! I really enjoy your podcast videos more as I do with your Defunctland videos. I was thinking that the next podcast video, you should do it with two theme park critics known as Tap-G and Surferclock. They are the host of their TH-cam podcast called WTA (What's the Attraction?) and their slogan is "our work is your vacation"!
OMG YAS! Iam jealous! You're talking to Ron Schinder! thats amazing!! The one and only Dreamfinder himself! I am a big fan to the old imagination ride :) and this is amazing. Loving this!
you should do a miniseries of rides from historically uninteresting parks. kinda like a lightning round for places like six flags that people don't travel to Texas to see.
It makes me kinda sad how little regard Universal has for their original attractions. They, for the most part, were based on timeless properties. Their replacements are not. Big contrast with Disney, who go out of their way to maintain their OG attractions.
Hey, if you're looking for an active animatronic artist with decades of experience for your podcast, might I recommend emailing Aaron Fetcher? He's the creator of the animatronic band The Rock a' Fire Explosion, and has a very active YT channel named therockafire, and I think he'd be a great fit for the podcast!

Agreed would be interesting to have someone from universal with experience to show another POV

I love this channel so much!
Thank you for your insights Ron! Fascinating to see how the writing process works at theme parks. Looking forward to the next one.
Ron is such a great guy. So glad to be friends with him. Glad to see him on your podcast. Huge fan of both :)
Dee Baker also called Dee Bradley Baker is the voice of the clones in the Clone Wars animated series
Hey Kevin big fan and cast member at Disneyland. Ron Schneider from one cast member to another thank you for your service.

Wow, Ron’s a cool guy.
Also, obligatory video request, any way we can get a Twister/Backdraft twofer video? Or each one separate, I’m easy to please.

Fascinating interview. Well done.

Yo dude could you do timekeeper?
you should do a miniseries of rides from historically uninteresting parks. kinda like a lightning round for places like six flags that people don't travel to Texas to see.

Star Trek: The Experience
You should make a video dedicated only to Michael Eisner focusing on his achievements and failures while heading Disney
