The quality of the Top 14 seems to be growing rapidly. I fear that Leinster might be the only team to stop any of them. La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Toulouse & Racing have to be amongst the tournament's top 5 favourites
Toulon is a favourite as well!
@@aquiladoro8535 naaa.... Don't misinterpret me, they are good but they still have to prov themselves, still quite basic way of playing, talented players, but still too stereotyped game; UBB is much more promising this season.
Since saracens collapsed a few years back, leinster have been the only non French team to challenge the top French teams like toulouse, la rochelle and racing. None of the English teams look capable of challenging for top hours but munster, bulls and stormers might be the next best teams to challenge the French teams
@@101MIGHTYJOE bulls and stormers 😂
@@101MIGHTYJOE Some of the English teams are good when they play at home but that's about it. It is very hard to beat Exeter for example at Sandy Park, Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop and Saracens at StoneX stadium. When they play away from home especially Exeter, they crack. My SA teams also struggle a bit in Europe, but they have won some big games recently like the bulls beating leinster at the RDS, sharks beat Bordeaux in Bordeaux a few wins in Edinburgh etc, however overall, we must also improve away from home. The thing is that we are quite new to these competitions and our teams are not at their best like if you look at some of their history and how good they were (bulls 2007-2010, 2013, sharks 2007 as well as stormers 2010-2012 and lions 2016-2017), while the English teams compete in these Competitions for a long time now and they should know all about winning these big games away from home. But as I said, we must also improve. In saying that, the European teams must also improve their record in SA.
Shows the quality of the top 14. No URC team would go and hammer Connacht by that much. Especially on a rainy night
I think that's a Connaught issue more than a URC issue, in that they don't seem to have the gumption to perform at this level consistently
The Bulls did it
The Bulls put up 53 points against Connacht
@@kylewindvogel2238I think he meant playing Connacht away.
I dont think you should be making statements like this just yet. Pretty Sure the Bulls are going to be poking holes in everyone's predictions this Champions Cup
Holly shit. How do you even stop that kind of expansive football?
You stop it by dominating up front. No possession = no expansive plays.
The champions cup seems to look like a scary proposition for urc teams right now(excluding leinster)
Really nice performance of Bordeaux 👌
Stupidly left Buros on the bench in my fantasy team :(
Sobering when you remember how Leinster had to dig deep to beat them recently.
They played their second team in fairness.
*Leinster’s B team
Oh dear!
Connacht falling asleep the worst result i seen from them and I'm a leinster fan
We were expected to win that one too. Only Sarries, Bristol and the Bulls to go 😅
(I'm laughing but I'm really crying)
Too much rugby going on, it's like football.
That's good. I have stopped watching football except for Man Utd games which is being killed by VAR and Oil money. I watch rugby now on Friday Saturday and Sunday. If only the games would be officially available on Indian TV or other streaming sites at reasonable prices, then I would have paid to watch and made my contribution to the sport. But currently, each championship asks about $170 to get subscription which is a heck lot of money for an Indian like me. To put in perspective, I work as a researcher in Mathematics and I get paid about $400 a month. Rugby truly deserves to be the world sport.

Connacht are way better than that. Let themselves down here.
What do you mean? They were completely outplayed.
Too many Mercenaries
@@sc1837huh? Yes its a professional sport 🥱
Under pressure all the way really for Connacht, great performance from Bordeux all the same and lovely rugby to watch. These French teams are worrying.
Wow. You have to admire that, impressive.
It’s not easy to do that to Connacht at home.
Wonderful rugby in a difficult environment.
Rough night for Connacht
