My ol' classmate at Howard University's School of Fine Arts back in the mid-70s. The Clarke Sisters were already on their way to being legendary status. Twinkie hung in there with us for a year, and then decided to go back to touring with her sisters. Whenever Howard's choir would go on tour, and people found out that Twinkie was in it, full house every time. But she missed being with her family and went back to join her sisters after a year of being at Howard. But what memories I have of being exposed to her greatness up close and personal like that when we were but babes. Sing on Twinkie. You still got it girl. ❤

Isn’t she the sweetest spirit?! I bought her latest project at the COGIC mall and she asked me if I wanted to take a picture. I replied, no thank you; just autograph and allowing me to give you a kiss on cheek is more than enough and she obliged!
Twinkie anointed with the gift and talent because she only serves the Lord. There not too many gospel artists today that can say that. She's always been so humble, she not about the Hollywood fanfare.
