Justin has turned into a reliable helper . We know you and your family are proud of him . Those of us who have followed your channel are proud as well. Keep up the good content . God. Bless
I get a kick out of watching Justin working with you in the hay field as I was about his age on a small Case tractor and a side rake. So I know how proud he is doing that job. Keep learning and always safety comes first .
The reason I love your videos is because 90 percent of family farms are run like yours. They make do with what they have and pass on the knowledge to the next generation. Your children are our future farmers ❤
Episodes continue to impress! I’ve been looking forward to seeing the kids grow (taller) and be able to take on bigger roles! Formative years forming great future adults. Great work Trinity Dairy!
Nice to see someone can make hay. We have had so many rain days here in Ontario,Canada we can’t make any dry hay without getting it rained on. Our wheat is about ready to harvest but won’t dry down enough due to frequent rains. I wish we could send you some of our rain
I was Justin's size when Dad put me on the International 240 with a New Idea rake. I almost put the whole side rake on top of me when I turned too sharply trying to turn back around in order to double the windrow. The rake caught the right rear tire and rode up above the seat where I was sitting. Bent the rake but it still worked.
I remember the first time I got to rack hay it was on my grandpa H I was about his age I remember it like it was yesterday the smell of fresh cut hay with the wind blowing in your face
The first baler I ever baled with was an 853 New Holland. Loved running that baler. Mostly pulled it with a 930 Case also some on a 1456 IH and 1100 MF. Those were fun days.
Love the burns....I was born in the 70's....that what farmers looked like back in the good ol days. Some of my equipment is still from that era, still gets er done. 3:52
Alan we figured out here. Put a piece of baler wire on the rope or tractor make it secure. The other end of wire you make a couple wraps around it self. Hitch pin break or rope gets tangled up. It straitens the wire and it comes apart.
Thank you for taking the time to make us these entertaining videos during a busy time of year,I know our 50 cow dairy farm keeps our family of 17 busy.🐄
Always enjoy watching your family farming videos, especially seeing the kids learning and helping. I wonder who will become farmers when they are adults only time will tell. You have an amazing loving family unit thanks to two loving and devoted parents! 🙏
I know a guy that got jacked up when the battery under the seat of a JD 530 exploded! Glad nobody got hurt! Real nice to see your Son helping! I hope he gets the Farm fever! You either love it or hate it!
Gladly trade ya rain for nice. Just passed 700 bales today, finally. Normally over 2000 by now.Have blown 5 loads thru chopper back on ground. Just baled what got rained on 2days ago. Unfortunately the double row still has lots of wet spots
Thanks for putting this one out. Good to see Justin enjoying the tractor. He looks at home there. It is 7/26 and we have had a couple of rains lately. Not huge, but definitely helpful. Hope everyone up in Minnesota and Wisconsin has gotten it too.
Hi Alan and family, I wish we would have just one week of good weather like you are having. Here we are having pop up showers three times a day. Sometimes thunder storms all night long. We have to wear rubber boots in the fields. One of the neighbours had his big bale wagon stuck right to the axles. Great video and thanks for posting, take care 😊🇨🇦
Hey Allen,,,great to see your doing as well as you can with the heat and dry. Justin has a great teacher!! Same as Aaron and Mason G. Start em young and teach them right.
Been using an 8 wheel rake for years and I must say Justin and his rake do a pretty awesome job of neat cornering…nothing left behind. I think I’ll trade our newer one for an older one 😂.
Wow another awesome video and Justin did very well so proud of him and another up and coming farmer well done proud of you all take care god bless each and everyone thank you for sharing ❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
That set screw is a Allen wrench tipe ste screw with pointed on one an jam nut flush with that maybe other 489 has that brings back alot of memories of our 5 kids helping on our dairy we milked 80 guerseys an i worked at new holland dealer for 13 years
Oof da that seat incident could have been very bad. PTO shafts are unforgiving. (I am reminded of the gentleman you interviewed a while ago that had his leg mangled in the PTO of a self unloading wagon). With those open bars on your baler, do you lose many leaves when baling Alfalfa/clover?
Lespedeza was a popular forage pasture grass in Minnesota at one time it had more tolerance to low rainfall and pests. is it still grown muchtoday and what are ur thought on it
Every year the demand and price for older farm equipment goes up a manufacturer that is committed to manufacturing parts at an affordable price in the USA is important. Forget China or India Belarus Romania manufactured who knows we’re they will be
Yeah,I can't stand them either, we finally went with you tube premium, it costs about 13 dollars a month, but not having to worry about what ads are popping up when the kids are watching, is worth it for us.

Justin is a big help raking hay, good job.
Our Lord was Watching Over You. God Bless.

It seems that's the best place to start learning. Rake, cut, bale; that's how I started at his age.

If u can not get the legumes cut tedded raked and baled in 4 days it’s time to rethink your hay making program add grasses to ur mix
@@arthurdewith7608 4 days, heck I haven’t had a week since June 21 that has had two days in a row without rain
Two good men you want to adopt Justin LoL 😊 good job 👍
Great video, Justin sure helps a lot even if it is the small things right now!
Tks for sharing. Gald your hay crop has been good.
Another load of feed is very welcome i quess, thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Hang in there ❤😊
love to see you putting justin on the rake think its good for him to start on the tractors to help the farm make him feel grown up!!

Good to see the next generation of hay makers learning on the job, the way us grizzled old guys did!!

Justin doing a great job. Seems more and comfortable. Hopefully you get more rain.

Super robota 👍
Hard to figure how that rope got tangled like that the first time in twenty years. A million to one event.
Hope at least your getting some good dew in the mornings at least!!!
Yeah, we've had some decent dew.
at 2:20.......... many years back, .same happened with me when cutting with 489 haybine and IH 560
Justin is doin good. Paul is getting a break.
That could pass for milk cow hay if needed

Yeah I think it does have quite a bit of leaf loss.
❤
What’s the number one failure breakdown on the older tractors?
Not sure if there is one specific thing, but I would say the clutch, and also engine overhaul, just because of wear over time.
Lespedeza was a popular forage pasture grass in Minnesota at one time it had more tolerance to low rainfall and pests. is it still grown muchtoday and what are ur thought on it
I've heard of it, but never planted it, so I don't know much about it. I'll have to look into it.
Was that some second cut hay? I don't think I'll get any second cut. Just too dry.
This was first crop, don't think we'll get a second crop either. Hopefully the corn will make it for silage.
🏆🏆🏆🏆. Video
How bout you turn and tell Justin what a fine job he did... InHISservice, bobr
It may not be on camera, but he definitely got told how much I appreciate him and am so very proud of him.
👍👌❤️🇨🇦

A friend of mine has a Belarus, and has a terrible time finding parts.
Great video Al, it's quite unbearably Hot here 🥵🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵 bit I know it's good for the crops, is that white Chevy pickup yours, i saw it in the background
That's Jen's parents Chevy pickup.
I know you can't control the ads, but fed up with "get rich quick" scam ads.
