Lee Perry bringing his innovation into reggae music with the use of the drum machine, first used on his riddim, *"Chim Cheri"* better known as *"Billie Jean."* This is Bob at his very, very best. The Wailers and Scratch in harmony before their big falling out.
This song was actually recorded in 1975 at the Black Ark with Bob and Scratch collaborating on the lyrics and Perry producing. Lee and Bob surprisingly patched things up after the big blow up in the early seventies. Scratch also produced Punky Reggae Party.

Peter surprised Bob on stage in 1978 during Get Up Stand Up, and in the documentary Caribbean Nights you can hear Peter say that Bob’s passing was still too painful to talk about. Album is called 'Storage Fire'. Some sad images of burnt records there- all Black Music, reggae, deep house, jazz...still collecting though. Respect.

It's from 1975, in the runup to Rastaman Vibration, and was overdubbed by Scratch at a later date. Often gets mixed up with the early stuff because of poor copyrighting.

Martin, I think this is a digital re-edit. I have the DK 12" too - I've never seen this extended mix released anywhere unless possibly on Jeremy Collingwoods JADS label.
