Prices fluctuate. As of me writing this, Fort Sterling is the least profitable. If you can, stock up some of your resources, or only put a little bit on the market at a time, until it gets to the price you want. You can also consider getting a Mammoth and carrying the resources over to the most profitable city. It will take longer, but you will get more.
I'm doind laborers for like 1.5year, profit before was awesome, profit before game opened for chinese was awesome, profit before all rich people builded 100-200halls was awesome, BUT RIGHT NOW this is total shit profit, price of the filled books is not worth doing this. I hadTons of halls T7/T8 my daily profit in 1h was 30m+ everyday, over 90m every 3 days out of 3h work for only 4b silver investment and right now this isnt even 58m...and there is fuucking huge problem to buy books and sell books, taxes ate tons of milions because shitload of idiots trying to sell them asap and editing all day long to be top lowest seller. Fuck thta shit
