Wow !!! You explained everything so easily.. It's very easy to exploit girls in a country like india. Even when i visit dham i had bad experiences...in of the lectures i heard a prabhuji saying that women can grow more spiritually under marriage.. Thank you for the video.. Please accept my humble Obeseinces
My humble obeisance dear Jagriti. In most developing countries. Not only India. Especially in places where girls can't get proper paying jobs. Even in the US, at work place? Even if they are not exploited then that loneliness is so depressing.
Hare Krishna, its all depend on how one wants to live their life. instead of saying a girl should be protected by someone or even men, why not we be the one who protects them no matter if women or men we should protect them and supports them. its really ugly to know if a girl wants to be a sanyasini or a nun but she don't feel safe instead she married. My sister is Sanyasini I supports her as a sister too, no matter who she become I will support her, I always awed of her bravery. she told me once when someone ask her who will protect you, she answer I will be protected by God or death, this life is given by HIM why should I find someone to protect me instead I will forever trust HIM to protect me, and to be honest she said why should she need protection when your trust God there should be no doubt. Marrying someone with expectation of them protecting you is not ok, marriage should be without expectation because one day when you expect and you didn't get what you expect you will feel bad and out of love, because love shouldn't come with expectation
Hare Krsna. Appreciate your thought. And your sister is really brave and has strong faith in God. Like Prahlad maharaj used to have firm faith to Krishna. If girls can remain as such brahmacharini then they could. Why not. But in safe environment. I am sure your sister has a safe place to stay, enough food to eat without working, enough clothes to cover her body. If those are not there then she will have to travel to job, earn money, deal with materialistic life. And in that environment it is very difficult to remain spiritually strong. So we take shelter of grihastha ashram. Regarding protection, well those are said in the Vedas. Parents protect their kids. Husband his wife and kids, grown up sons and daughters protect their elders. What's the difficulty in that? It is a proper human culture. Now does woman expect her husband to protect her? Well, she wants a strong person to rely on, a person who will give his shoulder when she is crying...support her emotionally...same way she reciprocates back. Family life has expectations we can't close our eyes to those. Ideal love can happen only between jiva and Krishna. Not anyone else.
Shri harivansh 💚 Nitai gaur mataji 🥰 I do not want to get married because all this is useless for me. Yes, whoever has a desire should definitely do it at the right time. Kishori ju kripa karein that I, too, get a residence in Vrindavan. If I get a place to live among bramhacharinis and sanyyasinis, then this feeling will remain intact throughout my life. I do not want to go to a Grihast Ashram because I have seen the life of married people around me. Even my mummy and papa's married life is not good. Kishori ju mujhe apni sehchari bana lein aur thakur ji k yogya ban dein ❤
Hare Krishna mataji! Could you please advise this young man too? I'm in my mid-20s and I'm not initiated or anything, I'm not affiliated with ISKCON in any way but I do follow regulative principles and chant my mahamantra and try to live a very Krishna conscious lifestyle by the lord's grace. However, I do feel lonely and I do feel very bad for wanting someone who's not Krishna. The feeling keeps troubling me even though I have Krishna, I sometimes feel a sense of loneliness and want to be a grihastha. What should I do? I don't think any ISKCON girl would marry an independent vaishnava-in-progress like me. I also don't wanna leave Krishna's hand. I will not marry a non-devotee and any random devotee either (need more of a best friend) so my options are very very limited. Now I'm just confused and I don't know what to do. I pray to Krishna to send someone but I feel very guilty for even asking that. I should be praying to Krishna for Krishna but my desires do not let me be in peace. Please advise me. Thank you!
Hare Krsna Prabhuji Thank you for being honest! Kardama Muni had a desire to get married though he was a great devotee. So grihastha ashram is one of the safest especially in Kali yuga with lots of distractions. I am sure there might be ISKCON devotee girls who are willing to marry someone very religious. Did you try using websites?
@@MohiniMadhavi Hare Krishna! Thank you for your reply. No I haven't used any websites yet because I feel like I'm too young for marriage. That's why I'm troubled because my body and mind want to move on but my intelligence says that I should work on my career and make myself better everyday as a bhakta and as a person. This is why this feeling keeps troubling me, my body and mind do not want to be patient but intelligence says that I should wait for a devotee girl that Krishna himself will send my way. I don't know if any devotee girl would be interested in being friends for a few years before getting to know me and then marrying me, after she gets to know more as to who I am as a person. I've never dated, never been in a relationship because of this reason. I will commit to one girl for life but I too need to be sure it's not someone who might hurt me in the future, I want more of a devotee best friend for life who can help me and I can help her.
Hare krishna mata ji! I'm a 17 year old girl and also a big fan of yours. I'm so perplexed about my 'bhakti', I can't even call my bhakti 'bhakti'. I'm so desirous of A LOT OF THINGS and I'm scared of problems and suffering. I don't know what to do. And unlike you, I find no pleasure in chanting. I'm always distracted or rushing or thinking of some other stuff. What do I do, Mata ji? How do I begin cultivating selfless love for Krishna??
Hare Krsna Priyanshi. 🙏 me too have so many desires unfortunately. But good thing is we are on the right path of -> crying for Krishna or at least crying for not being able to cry for Krishna. Do you have temple around your home? Do you have chance to visit and attend lectures and maybe even home programs?
@MohiniMadhavi Thanks for replying, Mata ji!! It made me so Happy! I don't have any Krishna temples near my home but there's a Hanuman temple nearby where I go once in a while.
@MohiniMadhavi ...I don't have kids and it works for me....what I meant was...good for kids to have both parents and to grow up in Krsna consciouseness which is a supportive environment for spiritual life...hare bol!
Hare Krishna Mataji 🙏 Thank you so much for such informative videos! I hope you can guide me regarding some confusion. My sister and I are trying to practice Krishna consciousness since 4 years but there's little support from family side so we can hardly visit temple as well. I have keen interest in learning scriptures but I'm studying as well but my inclination is more towards spirituality. So i have confusion in this that whether i should persue spirituality more seriously or career. Do you think astrology will help me know better where my mind can be used more efficiently and if so could you suggest some platforms where I can check about career and interest ? And due to some family issues it is being difficult to even persue career and likewise getting married. What would you suggest me if I say that my family is not trying hard enough to find me a groom because they have fear of being left alone ? And after coming to Krishna consciousness and following all the 4 regulative principles it has become more difficult to find a groom. I know it won't be difficult to find one if I visited temple but mom wouldn't let me visit temple as well... It is very difficult situation. I was thinking that career could be one way by which I could go out, get some exposure and visit temple. I feel that before getting married I should get diksha 😅. Career is one means to be able to step out and visit temple and marriage is one means to find future support not just for me but my entire family as well. I think I have messed many things up here. It is also urgent because I am already 25 years above... I hope you will guide me through this....
So sorry to hear that your parents are not allowing you to visit temple. Career depends on what you have studied until now. These days unfortunately many men prefer girls to be IT engineers to get married. 😕 so i wouldn't compromise on Career aspect. At the same time if you get a chance for marriage don't wait until studies are done. Just continue both. Now regarding your parents' permission you need to make them sure that you both will take care of them even after marriage. Since it is good for you to get married on time, otherwise you are going to stay at home and live on your parent's money lifelong. And later in life remain alone. I think if you explain these they may understand.
Regarding astrology. These days it is difficult to find good astrologers. You could. But instead observe what you used to be interested from childhood. But if you find a good astrologer they could guide you. But again they don't know exactly what you need to do. See if Jupiter is good in the chart then Jupiter is responsible for many careers. It could be law, it could be finance, it could be priest in the temple. So what you will do if astrologer tells you this? Again confused with many options. Mercury strong communication, writing, trade, analytical field... again confused with many fields.
@@MohiniMadhaviThank you so much Mataji for taking sometime to solve my issue 🙏 I'll try to balance both career and spirituality. And I think you are right astrology might not give me the best part but rather create more confusion with many options. I'll stick to my preferred career and will try to clear it as soon as possible so that I can progress towards bhakti 😊 Again thank you so much ✨
Hare Krsna dear Swarna, we can't say like this without proven and checked data. In the community where i stay around 200 devotees are married maybe 2 is divorced. So without proven data we can't simply say these things.

Hare Krsna Prabhuji, every person comes to this world with enough pre destined food for him or her. It may happen your salary may increase if kid has a good karma. So financial aspect shouldn't be a first concern in having kids. So sorry about it though. And thank you for your kind words.
@MohiniMadhavi thankyou. I'm also suffering from unstable faith in philosophy. But seeing your child like genuineness and enthusiasm, I feel inspiration and hope. Grateful to you Mataji!
@MohiniMadhavi As you have been chanting for 2 decades, can you honestly share any personally realised truth that can give me faith.. like face-to-face meeting Krishna or any demigod at least?
It's better to be married and practice spirituality. I am connected with an ashram where girls are allowed to take sanyas but many of those girls themselves left and married a guy they fell for. And some even made boyfriends with their disciples. So nobody should be sanyasi in this age, eventually they'll fall into temptation unless it's s very high level devotee.
True, thats for most of the women. But under Guru's guidance, some exceptions are there. Prabhupada personally adviced Jadurani Maaji to 'give up this business' and accept Krishna as her Husband and engage entirely in His service. Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati also had a women only ashram. So it not something entirely impossible, but is not for everyone and must be under guidance of senior devotees.
