    Enjoyed the video, interesting watching another method of producing the rock faces made from plaster I had gone down the carved insulation foam route.

    If you want to slow the setting of plaster, just add some vinegar to the water you mix it with. Adding patching plaster or bonding plaster will give a rougher texture and slow the setting time too. Using a wire brush can give a good rough but striated surface (drag horizontally) once the plaster is very nearly dry.

    Extruded polystyrene (styrofoam) is only available from very few suppliers in the UK. (none of the DIY stores). Might I ask you to share the name of your supplier, folks can then inquire if they will post!
