The church has always been in politics. The civil rights movement was formed in church, and the founding leaders were all pastors because the church and prayer has been the foundation on which our progress has stood.

We MUST pray because God is not please with the church. We are talking too much and NOT praying like we should. Lord please have mercy on us. There's nothing wrong exposing the devil. Truly he has the behavior and the demeanor of serving him. I used to listen to him on TBN asking for money and I did not like the way he went about asking a certain amount God told him. I also heard in prophesied a particular church in Florida and that prophecy still has not come to pass it's been over 35 years.
That's why I can't do pastors like him he's straight up HATEFUL AND SPITEFUL. Can you imagine how many souls are turning away from this. God is not pleased with this contorted vanity.

Bishop McClendon was #3 when he left at the appointment of Bishop Walker. Bishop McClendon had much love for Bishop Morton and was like Bishop Morton’s Spiritual Son.
First of all why is he addressing this in a church service? This is so ignorant of him, why didn't he call Bishop Morton and they talk and get together on this.This is why people don't come into the church house anymore because we act like the world. Sir, I was there with my cousin and best friends. We had an 8:00AM, 11:00AM, 3:00PM (This was a BRIEF service, because it was killing the singers and musicians), and 6:00PM service. That’s 4 services. There is so much I could say. It’s sad to see what he has become. We were young and loved the Lord and he exploited that. He received a prophecy during one of our conferences that told him to keep his ego in check, stay away from the sins of his father, and that his church could become a sending center for ministries. Unfortunately, he drove us all away. (Generally, back to the COGIC church)

They’re all wrong. God says call no man father. And God gave some Apotsle, Pastors, prophets, evangelist, teachers and ministers of help. Don’t put yourself in the place only God resides. There’s no jealousy on McClendon part.

Did you forget the this part in the Bible deutueronomy 24 if a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her,and then he should write her a certificate of divorce and send her out of his house .so if he writes her a cert of divorce which god said to do then why you having a problem his divorce.
You're leaving out Bible History in your studies multiple wives were common in the day of Christ and legal but Jesus came and amended it for the believers to be married with one wife at a time you served only by divorce done correctly and according to Jewish law McClendon did that so let's not try to use the Bible to hit someone over the head when we have not thoroughly studied the text from a spiritual physical and historical accounts Father son and Holy Ghost..

Next, you’re using scripture from the OT that DOES NOT apply to us. Jesus clearly stated that from the beginning divorce was not so. It wasn’t supposed to be a thing, but because of the hardness of men’s hearts, Moses gave the law for divorce. Men were just leaving their wives for any old thing. What did Jesus say? If a man divorces his wife for anything other than sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress. It would also mean that he’s an adulterer. That’s a problem.

I personally believe he is full of pride because he kept singing his own praises, He, himself and no one else. Also I feel like he has a leviathan spirit on him because everything was twisted into a grievous manner. Regarding the word "Had," Bishop Mcclendon speaks in past tense about his ministry because he broke up his mega church when he told his congregation that, God told him to divorce his first wife to marry the one he is with now (don't know if he's still married, I stopped listening/following him right after that scandal many years ago)!!! So he is his own downfall!
This is the same man who sat on the stage with Sid Roth "teaching" the audience how to speak in tongues. I wouldn't take driving directions from him much less spiritual direction.
Brother Leach, I agree he is a trip, but they all are (were). Morton, Long, Jakes, Jones, and Dollar, who all have been at times trusted pillars in our community of believers, all have their faults, and I believe these are the pros and cons of carrying the anointing. We have Moses, Elijah, Jehu, and David, all strong contenders of the faith, with faults to assess this equitably. Our leaders will get things wrong; we have all misunderstood the anointing and, at times, have walked in error, but I won't throw them away because I believe they still hold great value in the Kingdom. McClendon has A LOT of "I" going on, and he will have to get before the Lord about it. I feel bad about all of this falling out with one another. I am praying for healing for the believers in Christ, and for restoration and resurrection. We need EVERYBODY!! I appreciate your enlightenment about this issue!!
He didn't feel that way all those years that he was 3rd presiding Bishop for years. When the counsel of bishops voted for Bishop Walker as presiding, he was one that got in their feelings and left the fellowship. What does that say?

There are other Pastors that have a very large congregation that there teachings are questionable but to hold a group of pastors together with no scandal that I am familiar with is exceptional . The Bible says God hates pride.
He became a Bishop before he joined with Bishop Morton. At the time he was a part of Four Square. And he did had 10,000 members because I was apart of his church. But everything fell. I don’t believe he is jealous. He came to LA with nothing and GOD did give him everything. I remember the night he became Bishop. But he is doing too much right now.
He should not be carrying on like this. A lot of members walked away and I after 10 years as a member 4 of those years I was a Greeter/Hospitality Ministry. He is a Prophet now. Just seems hard for me to believe what I’m seeing. I learned so much and seen the power GOD move on a whole Coliseum of people on the floor with an Arabian Prince at the conference. I still have much respect for him but this is a lil too much.

He had a very powerful ministry early 90’s he was very young mid 20’s and everything fell down. I learned a lot through his teaching. Although I don’t agree with Bishop McClendon’s actions, I was a part of the Full Gospel convention the year Walker was elected. The race had actually come down to Bishop Walker and Bishop Neil Ellis. There were a lot of issues that emerged at that rime- issues that caused mw to leave Full Gospel. once again, although i don't agree with Mcclendon's response, Morton and Full Gospel have had major internal issues for years

Speaking in tongues is a gift Please Baptist people don’t need to speak in tongues to be saved. Please know that speaking in tongues is not a prerequisite for being saved. I respect Bishop Mortton, but this what he gets because this man left his lawful wife for no reason. Except, finding someone younger and attractive. Yet, he was walking around carrying God's word. He should have stepped down as a credible minister.

Sir, I was there with my cousin and best friends. We had an 8:00AM, 11:00AM, 3:00PM (This was a BRIEF service, because it was killing the singers and musicians), and 6:00PM service. That’s 4 services. There is so much I could say. It’s sad to see what he has become. We were young and loved the Lord and he exploited that. He received a prophecy during one of our conferences that told him to keep his ego in check, stay away from the sins of his father, and that his church could become a sending center for ministries. Unfortunately, he drove us all away. (Generally, back to the COGIC church)

The problem with his divorce is this: He claimed that God told him who his wife should be, while he was ALREADY MARRIED. THAT, is a problem.
Next, you’re using scripture from the OT that DOES NOT apply to us. Jesus clearly stated that from the beginning divorce was not so. It wasn’t supposed to be a thing, but because of the hardness of men’s hearts, Moses gave the law for divorce. Men were just leaving their wives for any old thing.

I say this lightly by addressing him as Bishop but McClendon has what God deem as a reprobated mind.
I personally believe he is full of pride because he kept singing his own praises, He, himself and no one else. Also I feel like he has a leviathan spirit on him because everything was twisted into a grievous manner. Regarding the word "Had," Bishop Mcclendon speaks in past tense about his ministry because he broke up his mega church when he told his congregation that, God told him to divorce his first wife to marry the one he is with now (don't know if he's still married, I stopped listening/following him right after that scandal many years ago)!!! So he is his own downfall!
This is the same man who sat on the stage with Sid Roth "teaching" the audience how to speak in tongues. I wouldn't take driving directions from him much less spiritual direction.

Brother Leach, I agree he is a trip, but they all are (were). Morton, Long, Jakes, Jones, and Dollar, who all have been at times trusted pillars in our community of believers, all have their faults, and I believe these are the pros and cons of carrying the anointing. We have Moses, Elijah, Jehu, and David, all strong contenders of the faith, with faults to assess this equitably. Our leaders will get things wrong; we have all misunderstood the anointing and, at times, have walked in error, but I won't throw them away because I believe they still hold great value in the Kingdom. McClendon has A LOT of "I" going on, and he will have to get before the Lord about it. I feel bad about all of this falling out with one another. I am praying for healing for the believers in Christ, and for restoration and resurrection. We need EVERYBODY!! I appreciate your enlightenment about this issue!!

He became a Bishop before he joined with Bishop Morton. At the time he was a part of Four Square. And he did had 10,000 members because I was apart of his church. But everything fell. I don’t believe he is jealous. He came to LA with nothing and GOD did give him everything. I remember the night he became Bishop. But he is doing too much right now.

He had a very powerful ministry early 90’s he was very young mid 20’s and everything fell down. I learned a lot through his teaching. He has a nice church and congregation now in Inglewood and he is apart of LA pastors and Bishops. His members are not lost. This is so sad. I am thankful for the way I was brought up in church and what my pastor/father taught us. It wasn't his opinion/feelings it was all taught according to the Bible.
