PCT 2024 Episode 0 - Checking Out of Life

We can’t thru hike the Pacific Crest Trail without making some big life changes. In this video we go over some of the steps we took to make it to the southern terminus. From quitting our jobs, putting things into storage, saying goodbye to our pup, and getting to San Diego. The trail starts soon! Cheers!

My first thought was woe Justin either no beard. Second thought was how hard it is to leave behind the doggie. I have pet sit for many friends over the years. The doggies and kitties and such always love me but they love their peoples even more. I can’t imagine leaving my kitty, who generally travels either me everywhere , for a week, let alone several months. You both made a LOTof sacrifices to hike the PCT. I hope it has been and will continue to be everything you hoped and more. You both are crushing it. Thanks for sharing your journey

@@justinhitsthetrail5225 SD is pretty cool. I live in SoCal now and I love it. Mostly cuz I’m outside the suburbs and more in FarmVille on the coast. So I’m close to mountains when I want some but city if I need it. Thanks for sharing your adventures
