As a child in the mid-70s I flew from Stuttgart to Paris in one of these. Lightly loaded these things took off at a steep angle like rockets, much unlike the Sud Aviation Caravelles with their flattish climb-outs. I did prefer the Caravelles though because of their unique triangular windows and their generally very esthetic appeal (especially of the tail unit).

I flew on the 737 200 before, it looks smaller from the outsidebut when you get onboard its big, kind of weird
