Think about it, man disobeyed God - for many it was a small offense - but the punishment was terrible: expulsion from Paradise and death for Adam and all his descendants.
To erase this punishment, Jesus had to suffer a terrible death on the cross...

Bishop, when you preach I cry everytime. I feel it in my Heart, Soul and Spirit. My sins are ever before me and I pray the Lord will forgive me. And as you say I'm not worthy, I say I'm not worthy to even beg and pray for forgiveness, BUT I pray and tell God that I accept his Verdict and Judgement for wherever My Lord places me for my sins voluntary and involuntary. Me too, the Bishop has been my Sunday sermon for a bit now and this was the one I just watched yesterday and I had tears welling up as he was admonishing the churches around the world, if you listen closely a woman in the background was just wailing and it got me, I broke down.
Amen and I listen to brother Emanuel from South Carolina USA and I love his courage because so many pastors have sold out and think they are going to somehow get alright but they are going to the worst part of hell and that includes me if I hold my peace in this the last day's before the world end

I would smoke with my best mate , was my choice and he never introduced me to it. After a recent horrible reaction I quit. I still see my mate and hang out but I dont smoke and he respects it .

@dorotarot5109 No he spent time with them to convert, forgive and help them turn from their ways. The issue of hanging out with friends that sin is many times, we tend to partake in sin with them. That’s why he says even if you are strong enough to resist eventually peer pressure will get to you and you will start to partake. This doesn’t mean to outright be rude to them but let them know about God and how you want to be better than what you are now. Then move away from them and wait/ pray for them to change their ways if they ever do. Sometimes those friends don’t want to change so that’s why you move away from them to focus on you and God.
