After watching this I asked myself, "Why did I live my life like this?" I was happy being an honor student at first but then I ended up getting depressed on maintaining it and keeping up with my parents' expectations. I couldn't live the way I wanted. I am not happy anymore but I can't change it now. I'm so envious of others who do well in school without getting under pressure. I regret being an honor student.
You could still be happy while trying your best to have a high grade, but in the end of the day, it all boils down to who you do it for. If you're doing it for someone else and not your self, then it's likely na you will get these feelings of regret, kasi you worked under pressure and not your own will.
Ify bro, I used to be an honor student, but I couldn't take the pressure. Once you get to the top, everyone expects you to go even higher. Got to a point where my grades declined and I stopped aiming high. Their disappointment bummed me out immensely but I eventually got over that. Honestly felt really good to have that off my shoulders, but if there's one thing to note, I do miss the competition.

I just recently started watching Nisa’s vlogs and this is one of the funniest videos I’ve seen, it reminded me of how I flunked one minor subject before. I was sick for a whole month and still needed to attend school because I was chosen to compete with other schools and was excused for most of the days and missed classes until the quarterly examinations came. I wasn’t able to answer the exam paper because I was clueless and I didn’t take an effort to know the topic they learned that exact quarter. So basically, I got a 76 for that quarter and happily my parents understood me and told me to do better for the next quarter. They knew I was stressed that time and it was also the time where I was kicked out of the COCC department because of the same reason of my sickness. (Nakabawi naman ako sa sumunod na quarter) So yes, these kind of parents are the best! Keep slaying bhie, I love your vlogs ❤️
