- Hello there! I recently purchased a DRL headlight assembly of a Toyota Conquest and upgraded the stock headlights of my hilux. I bought the headlight from a friend in cebu for about Php 25k. It is a pull-out unit from the insurance. It is cheaper at the same time original. I had someone professionally install the headlight as it requires a lot of relays and extensions for it to work. I made a short compilation video of Hilux headlights being upgraded to the DRL version. The headlights perform excellent especially at night. Tune in for more wristwatches, cars, gadgets and maybe a bit of travel.

Do you recomend vland is it safe 500$ plus shipping isn't cheap. i have my doubts on investing in thease headlights for the long term
I have seen a few Hilux revos with Vland. I think it is okay. I believe the leds are disposable. They are bright and look cool. If your current hilux headlight has the halogen with H4 bulb - the basic one, then I think VLand is okay. But if you already have the one in the video with the Drl and projector, I think it will be a downgrade.

hello please does the light leveling feature works with this new headlight
It does not because my hilux has no option on auto leveling. So it was condemned and just adjusted the light level manually through screw driver.
@@KirbyYoung well mine does have the option but am wondering of the light itself contains that feature.
ni rewire po ba ung DRL or may wire na ready ung G variant ng hilux for DRL?
Same wires lang po pero dahil H4 yung orig na stock, iCutoff lg yung socket ng H4 para ipalit sa HB3 socket kasi yung headlight na may DRL merong separate hi-beam na at yung isang linya sa lowbeam. At meron ng DRL line yung bago, nilagyan ng relay para pag on ng kotse umiilaw at isang relay naman para sa park light naman. Para pgka on ng park light, naka dim na yung DRL.
Do you think the lights on the new hilux legend rs would fit into the same car as yours?
I'm not sure. The front face might have a different shape on the headlight area.

Low beam disposable. Baka kailangan ipalit buong head assembly.
Do both light up when you put your vehicle on bright or just one? Also which lights are bright and which are dim? The projectors or the 9006 bulbs?
Yes. Both light up. The hi beam is the halogen

Yung drl po naka connect sa ignition para pag on automatic din on drl. Separate na po yung hi beam at low beam

@@datuahmedbinsuan7097 yes po. Relay for hi beam at low beam at drl. Sa drl kasi merong dim mode pag on yung park light
Are the plugs there ready or do you need a new harness thanks
You have to add a harness for the Daytime running light. It was hooked on the ignition so that when the vehicle starts, it turns on, and hook to the park light so it dims when park light is turned on.
And also another one for hi beam and low beam. Since the original one only had one bulb h4.
Do you know what colour wires go to what at all because there different from each other

Projector light is low beam. Hi beam is open.

@@KirbyYoung boss kasi binili sana kami conversion kit for my 2020 hilux gagawing conquest rocco may kasamang headlight’s pero need daw e conversion kasi di daw plug and play same dito sa video nyu po anung mga gamit need e prepare for the conversion nang drl?
