- Spectre Just Got The Craziest Buff! BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - now you don't lose the previous upgrade when you buy this 4th tier bottom path ace! How much of a difference it makes you can see in this 2 million pops challenge on an uncommon map.

there's actually a hotkey for submerging, changing flight path, retargeting trap etc. and it's mapped originally to page down or page up - in the hotkeys menu as "Monkey Special 1"
The sub thing is a bug, I got it too one time recently. And it wasn't a chimps game. Thought it was just me haha
I got it several times during the AC where you had to micro the sub on end of the road. Going home and re-entering the game fixes it.

ive been experiencing that bug a lot too :( it messed up a lot of my runs
13:24 Camo potion doesn't give extra damage until geraldo level 19, so you were one level off of it being useful.

@@Kaifirstbaseman he literally said he was getting it for the increased camo damage, but it didn't give extra camo damage at the level he got it.
I have genuinely been the biggest fan of Spectre ever since btd5, and everyone clowned on me for liking it so much, I'm glad this happened.
I feel like plane needs a slight rework, the low tiers are complete ass but once you invest a ton of money it gets pretty good.
i suppose so. they have the same excessive pierce issue that mortar used to have and it's almost impossible to use all the pierce. plus they're very inconsistent, i wish you could set a rotation for them to jump to at the start of rounds.
Ace is op in the low tiers.... Only if you have wingmonkey though 😭.
I didn't even start leveling him up till I got that skill point so yeah I agree
I kinda feel the same way about heli, they're simply not built to use the first chunk of cash you earn on them and don't catch up to the other options you can get until you've spent quite a bit on them.
@@amazingkool ok I'll give you that for razor rotors but also come on. 1-0-0 heli will carry to the late 30s and downdraft is one of the best stall towers in the game. also moab shove is good too.

12:27 he mentions going against the grain yet put the spectre SUPER close to the bloons. While this avoids situations where it’s chasing bloons, if you want to actually maximize pierce you move it away from the bloons, that way the relative angle of attack doesn’t change as much and it’s closer to the straight line you want. Same also applies for neva-miss btw. Place the centred path as far away from the bloons in the line that you want it attacking from.
14:15 is probably a better example, this is neva-miss and a stright line of fire, you don’t need it on top of the bloons, unlike how you would micro the other aces. The better location would be the top left, and that would also prevent it from chasing cerams as they would still be in the line you want to attack from.
I love how isabs voice is calm and collected and wothout emotion but the title has more of that in it than isab will ever show

fun fact- even though both of the lanes look the same length, the right entrance is actually SHORTER for some stupid reason. it takes a red balloon literally 1 less second to go from the right entrance to the exit.
Please try two 1 millions pops challenge. I think it would be interesting trying to get two towers to a mil maybe ban copter to make it harder.
I started using Specter way more since this update. Pretty clutch in CHIMPS now.

6:10 go left, you get submerge option targetting (ik they removed it but if no dedicated submerge button then this works)

The Submerge button bug is super annoying. Hope it gets fixed soon, I keep running into it myself.

Upgrading to spectre means the alch buff isn't as useful, but with the damage buffs it's still higher than just neva miss. Spectre is actually worth using now, I can hardly believe it.
Is it ever worth going for a monkey town to get the extra money from popping balloons in chimps or does that effect not work/is it too expensive?

You can afford flying fortresse in chimps if you use corvus with spectre I have tried it many times and it's not that hard

What makes chutes a nightmare of an intermediate map? It seems pretty basic and not too bad, a simple two lane map
No corners that cover both tracks so towers can struggle with coverage, it’s pretty short, the space is awkward, and it requires some coin to remove the obstacles for a lot of towers to work well
It’s not super difficult, it’s only intermediate after all, but compared to others it stands out. Play on it and compare it to others, you’ll see that it’s noticeably diffetent

The submerge bug is with the retry last round as isab suspected, but there is a way to fix it and that is by going to home and going Back it goes back to normal. I figured this out while trying to do flooded valley chimps.
Oh becuase i had this happen in i think a chimps quest or intense bloon rounds and i could not figure how to fix it until i went back in
i dont think so, its happened to me a few times before but not on chimps runs

I got the sub button bug on chimps but I never used restart last round. I was very sad because I was trying to beat peninsula chimps and after like 50 tries I finally beat the low rounds, invested all my money in a 302 sub, submerged it, and then it was stuck underwater when I needed him most :(
Use Striker Jones and it’ll negate the -25% pierce nerf
The buff carried me to beat Elite Dreadbloon on Ravine

That submerge button disappearing glitch has happened to me before, and I kinda hate it, because it just randomly disappears, making some cases where I just lose because I can’t use the button

Is this really worth it? The villages only reduce the cost of tier 3 and lower upgrades right? So you are basically paying around 2.000 for a 5% cost reduction on tier 3 and below.
So you would need to spend over 40.000 on tier 3 and below purchases from now to make that investment worthwhile. So why would you ever stack the cost reduction when the second and third village just add a measly 5%? And spending over 40.000 on just tier 3 and below upgrades, all of them having to be within both villages range, doesn't seem realistic.
Why didn't you upgrade the alchemist to 4-2-0? Isn't the better uptime worth the money?
I always thought the darts in the neva miss go into the stream of darts and bombs when you upgrade to the spectre
