Punjabi food is far more nutritious ( high density nutrition) than Marathi food which has a lot of chillies and masalas. It's very hot 🔥 and spicy🥵 which Punjabis can't typically tolerate or relish since they have low to medium spice. I could see Rocky couldn't eat the misal pav at all. He cut the scene after a single bite that almost choked him because of the fiery spicy chillies in it.
