day one spanish 2 million viewers day two spanish 2 viewers lol , you know the method for learning spanish is really persistence i have been practicing for 25 years and i still speak basic spanish to the non spanish speaker i look like im fluent but when you learn you realize to be fluent you have to be able to say the same thing in five different ways like you do in your native tongue, but as a functional speaker you can just learn quickly. So if you get tired dont worry just try as many videos as you can easily just avoid burnout and keep it fun and you will progress no matter what as long as you keep trying and keeping it easy on yourself.

A little correction: "agua" is not a masculine word. "Agua" is a feminine word and so we say in Spanish "agua clara" or "agua salada" and not "agua claro" neither "agua salado". We use the masculine article "el" instead of "la" because euphony reasons. "La agua" sounds bad to Spanish ears because the union of two "a" so we change "la" by "el". But "agua" is feminine always.

Duolingo doesn't explain this from the beginning, so you get confused as loco when you've gone through several basic skills. For example, I just learned that La is for feminine and el for masculine.
Ramza I highly recommend pairing Duolingo with other material. I love it, I have my own club, and a 200 day streak, but when you get into the tenses specifically it is really tough. They don't explain or provide context. So TH-cam is great because you're pairing one free app with another free (well, it can be, lol) site or app. There are also beginner Spanish ebooks available that translate after each paragraph and explain what is said and why, but they usually aren't free.

WRONG !! agua is a feminine word. You can't say la agua, la azucar, la aguila. Its a phonetic thing. So you say : el agua, el aguila, el azucar. Still those are all feminine words. You should know those things if you are going to teach a language

En el momento 9:40 la chica dice que el agua es masculino, no lo es. El agua es femenino sólo que hay un regla en español que dice que si la primera letra del sustantivo es a y está es la sílaba tónica, el artículo que prensenta dicho sustantivo cambia de «la» a «el». Esto se demuestra fácilmente llevando al sustantivo al plural, en este caso, las aguas. Otro ejemplo de los dicho sería el águila, que en su plural sería las águilas. Por cierto bonito video.

This is the most basic starter Spanish ever. They're not going to tell you the nuances of the pro-drop system in Spanish. They're just trying to get food...
Duolingo doesn't explain this from the beginning, so you get confused as loco when you've gone through several basic skills.
For example, I just learned that La is for feminine and el for masculine.
Ramza I highly recommend pairing Duolingo with other material. I love it, I have my own club, and a 200 day streak, but when you get into the tenses specifically it is really tough. They don't explain or provide context. So TH-cam is great because you're pairing one free app with another free (well, it can be, lol) site or app. There are also beginner Spanish ebooks available that translate after each paragraph and explain what is said and why, but they usually aren't free.

Im a Spanish person and she doesn't pronunce well some things, she doesn't do bad , but as Im from Spain i can see differences like the spanish lenguage. Like "yo" ( I in english), it is not said like Job (jo-b) , like she says, is like the yo-yo (the object for play for the kids: toy that spins up and down on a string), well i dont know how to explain it because im not a english person , but I think if you really want to learn the spanish pronunciation you have to go to an spanish person, and learn with it.

WRONG !! agua is a feminine word. You can't say la agua, la azucar, la aguila. Its a phonetic thing. So you say : el agua, el aguila, el azucar. Still those are all feminine words.
You should know those things if you are going to teach a language

I'm half Puerto Rican , and my mother , nor does the rest of my mothers side of the family pronounce the "Y "in "yo " like that . Idk , maybe it's just that " Puerto Rican Spanish " . ☺️🇨🇺

En el momento 9:40 la chica dice que el agua es masculino, no lo es. El agua es femenino sólo que hay un regla en español que dice que si la primera letra del sustantivo es a y está es la sílaba tónica, el artículo que prensenta dicho sustantivo cambia de «la» a «el». Esto se demuestra fácilmente llevando al sustantivo al plural, en este caso, las aguas. Otro ejemplo de los dicho sería el águila, que en su plural sería las águilas. Por cierto bonito video.
