If you watch the movie it's because at first she thought they were all a really weird dream that she would wake up from any minute she was a bit freaked out even when hatter and the rest were like this is real
"I found myself in wonderland" not making sense getting lost in ur head... He is the mad hatter... That's the part of her going mad(crazy) and she's fighting that part of her so she runs away from it. If she stays then she stays crazy..
This movie mixes magic with mischief, mistery, and fantasy, someething you dont see much, its either one or the other but thats the beauty of Tim burtons work specially in this movie, with the colors and the soundtrack he managed to mix opposites and make a complete masterpiece and still have kids love it.

Not a Avril fan (wrong demographic) but Tim Burton was right to let her have a go at a song, and he was wise to use it (he love it) it fits the movie well, Pity the sequel didn't use it/her
I really like the song and liked the movie, especially the moment when madness takes over the Hatter, but I've always wanted to believe they would actually make the rumored movie based on America McGee's "Alice"...the dark retelling of the story after tragedy devastates Alice's life and that tragedy affects Wonderland. Been rumored for years...cast and promised, but never fulfilled. Tragic.The movie would be hugely successful!
I think Tim is going to be doing that for the follow up. There's rumors that the next Alice in Wonderland will be darker and more horror based themes but also it will have elements of Through the Looking Glass as well. But I'm not 100% sure on that, it's just rumors from what I have heard
I can only hope for that. I appreciate you being a follower of the same genre. Not all appreciate the desire for this particular version of it It was just such a finely crafted game and story. I'm probably going to purchase the second game just on cut scenes shown on You Tube. And I believe that American McGee is asking for money to push the project.

For me, the Alice in the movie wasn't really pretty (again, it's my opinion), and this is why I prefer Avril for this role. In her clip, she played well Alice, and she was looking really great ! ^^ I'm sorry if my English is bad, by the way. (I can talk in French)
