This would be a lot more helpful if the "demo" on how to enable branch versioning were actually SHOWN. Instead (because of a glitch I'm assuming), we can't see anything he's doing on the screen as he's talking through the (point of the whole video) setting up branch versioning; it's just the last slide of the previous talking points. We first see an actual screen when he's finished all those steps. Hopefully I'll be able to find other videos that actually demonstrate this part.

I have to say, this is one of the most unfriendly user features I have seen in a product. I cannot calculate the size of parcels because the data is stored locally on my computer and now I have to publish unfinished data for a dissertation just to use the calculate geometry feature. This is really bad and overly complicated just to accomplish a single task. Thanks for actually showing how to do this with data that is not already in an sde file.

I feel like there's a bit of a conflict on when to use Branch Versioning & when not to use it. In, "When to use Branch Versioning", it states, if you plan on using Utility Network, right? But in, "When not to use Branch Versioning", it states if you plan on using "...datasets such as Network Datasets". How do you use Utility Network, if you don't create a network dataset; am I just not understanding how Utility Network operates?
