The way allens defense was playing it looked like they were scared to be physical like they weren't trying
It was perplexing. Allen D (at least their line) has been very physical and juiced the last 6 weeks. It was disappointing to not see them get the penetration they usually can. Hats off to Guyer. They were ready.
So glad to see Jackson Arnold coming to OU. He will be a great fit, and up the play of everyone around him in the QB room, and the team. Guyer TX Is a very good team.

@@JonathanRodriguez-hw3iy Katy is doing really good this year. They beat atascocita, tompkins, cinco, and are undefeated. Katy is not guyers biggest problem though. They still have to deal with either westlake, dripping springs, and summer creek. Katy is gonna make the d1 bracket though.

Given the fact that Denton Guyer smoked Allen by a 42 point margin, it's fair to assume that they could hang with West Coast teams such as Centennial, SJB and possibly even Mater Dei.

@@ryanmccarthy8625 Nah the talent pool is still big for them because they’re one of the biggest schools in texas. The coaches are just bad and must not be developing the younger athletes(middle schoolers and freshmen) well. They also scheduled that sjb game knowing they were nowhere near as good as them and knowing they’re a young team just to prove themselves to some other states. Which to me shows that the coaches have issues.
@@TheBlackAztec3 dude, the coach that scheduled the game bolted in the spring/. New coach was hired in JUNE and had no spring ball with the kids. It’s a miracle they’ve done what they’ve done with no preparation and 10 kids on a 95 man roster that played a varsity game before Bosco game. Get facts right before you start throwing coaches and schools under a bus.
3 different coaching staffs in 3 years the coaching Allen has now is awful what’s even worse this game was nationally televised who would want to come to Allen after seeing this. Calling the same 3 plays on offense is crazy this is clearly bad coaching . Allen is a 2nd round playoff team at best. I’ve been going to Allen games sense the 90s this is like back then just terrible.
Considering that, you have to ask the question "What is the root of bad coaching?"

I personally wouldn’t mind if next year Allen play OOS since the best players on their team are mostly underclassmen, so it would be interesting to see how much they’ll improve.
I even think Allen will be stronger than guyer next year since they’re built for the future while Guyer is losing Arnold, Bowen, and a lot of other valuable seniors.
