That's crazy! My quad stove is doing the exact same thing just by the adapter. Looking to upgrade and saw your video. As soon as I can find one in stock I guess I'll be upgrading. Thankyou very much for the vid.
@@TheCarpyTraveller yeah, got it all sorted. But I'll never use one again. Where the gas pipe connects to the stove, it's just a push on coupler with a plastic insert!!! No threaded nut n bolt! It over heated and melted the fitting and pipe, causing a huge flaming gas leak!!! Just glad I was cooking outside and I was there. Had I turned my back and nipped for a wee, or had a run etc, I don't think I'd have any gear left at all!!!
@@TheCarpyTraveller thats it only know the pros and cons of products from time ,woke up to a load of condensation in my bivvy this morning maybe cause i didnt use the groundsheet unsure but thats why i upgraded so wasnt happy 🤔
@The Carpy Traveller 😅 I don't take one really but makes you wonder how they can produce a microwave for less than this little cooker though. I just use a cheap spider cooker most the time, think I paid about £15 for it or a take the twin hob camping one for long sessions, but as I say, each to their own 👍
Fair enough matey. As you can probably tell I’m a big fox tart but only if it’s practical. I had the quad ridge monkey one and it leaked gas and was quite dangerous so upgrade to the new fox one it’s honestly really good BUT doesn’t come with an igniter
The clueless comments on here about that stove are hilarious. It really is quite cheap for that type of stove, its faster and therefore more efficient than other types and will work in high wind without a wind shield..
If you put the lid on itl boil quicker and use less gas.

It was starting to get dangerous 🤣🤣
@@TheCarpyTraveller and now they're completely out of stock. 😂😂
Scrap that!!!! It has since blown up and tried to kill me whilst cooking my breakfast!!!! Back to the trusty old tracker!
Wow! Have you tried emailing them?

Does it come with the power boil container aswell as the canister cover? Or does it just come as the stove alone? Many thanks
Comes as just the stove mate, they now do a V2 must of been problems with the first batch
@TheCarpyTraveller cheers pal 👍
Enjoy the reviews of products 👏
I’ll keep them coming, I’m gonna be doing long term ones aswell

I can buy a new microwave for that much and plug it into my inverter 😅😅. Each to their own though fella 👍
Be funny to watch you rustle some food up on the bank with a microwave 🤣

Mental money I'll buy the gas I can't see any difference
I agree luke, crazy money, it doesn't even come with the pan. Each to their own but its not for me. I bet Fox are laughing their bollox off 😅
@@stokecarpanglers you think it would come with a spark igniter
