I have been watching you both for a few months and I love it. I am doing chemotherapy and you both have made me laugh and just helped pass the time. I never considered dumpster diving before but watching you I wanted to try. My daughter is 21 and she took me out to try I think so she didn't have to hear me talk about it. We have been twice and done really well. The first time was 7 pairs of reading glasses and their cases and a stand up fan and other little things. The second time were found a full case of 18 beer pong games a new box roll of shrink wrap. To say we have only been out for about an hour total. We have done great. Now my daughter likes it. It will be something we can do together and have fun. Thank you for your videos. They have gotten my through a rough time. Love from Ontario, Canada.

That owl is cute easy fix Love the candles and skeleton lamp. Those plates are pretty .Great idea using broken cups and plates for candles I find those cups all the time and candles too. Nice finds .👍
You can take the broken dishes put them in a bag and bust up with rubber mallet. Use the pieces to make a mosaic tray or table. I had a friend that did her counter tops. They look beautiful.
Love your little owl set! It's fun of it, cause I think it would be a great spot to leave your lover a note.😁 Then they respond the same way. I love owls! When my husband proposed, he used a little owl trinket "box", similar to the one you found here. He had to fix something inside of it to hold the ring, and it looked so good! He did such a good job! My favorite color is blue, so somehow he the little owl in blue.
Excited that your getting stuff from Michael’s too! I’m still getting a lot as well. You may already know this but if you wanted to sell that owl after you glue it nail polish remover will take off that marker on the box that they wrote damaged on. Idk if you have a Platos thrift store but they throw away bags and bags of clothes and sneakers. I keep what we can use for my daughter and I and donate the rest. 6 Bags full today and one bag had a Tiffany necklace idk if it’s was an accident but I’m pretty sure is real.
A tea light would look amazing in that greenish planter or vase. The weird design of it with light coming through will look super kool. That was funny “Stay awhile” by the toilet!! Ha!! Gold paint is perfect. It will hide the white spots and no one will notice. Gold would look nicer than gray on that piece.

Sometimes folks buy things like the barn owl for people who maybe have an owl collection (or whatever the little knick knack is) and if it’s a special occasion they may put some money in it. Like you give someone that cute little owl, they open it up and there’s money inside. Got some pretty neat stuff.
You can use those tote lids for so many things! Protect your car from dumpster juice, Steve's concrete work, your crafts, grandchildren's tiny toys [easy pickups], ask them to keep art, toys, etc on the lids. My sister gave me a bunch, I used for YARD SALE SIGNS & DIRECTIONS... I SET THE PAINT SUPPLIES AND CAN ON A LID TO PROTECT FLOORS. JUST AN IDEA

I remember going to Pier 1 as a kid and I loved it! It was one of my favorite stores and everything was so inexpensive but not cheap. Quality made but inexpensive. Fast forward 35 years.. I went in one for the first time about a year before they closed and I couldn't believe how "overpriced"..not expensive but overpriced things were.. ridiculous. I can see why they went out of business or closed a lot of stores.
Agreed! Cute stuff and very different from the typical stores but expensive for what it is. We used to have a pier 1 outlet in San Diego and we got some great stuff from there when we first got married! Would have loved to dumpster dive the outlet! 😆
I really miss the regular dumpsters. Around me(about a 40-50 mile radius) most of the stores have compactors now. Only a few stores still have the regular dumpsters. & they're boring stores(like consignment, some grocery stores, etc.). Either that or they lock them now too. I still keep looking & hoping they wont lock them or I can find some more regular dumpsters. But I like watching you guys get good scores! Just wish I could get some too! I haven't gotten anything good or even half decent in a long time. But glad you guys/girl are. :)
@@lizh1988 Ya, I know. I agree. I guess they lock them for many reasons. Some don't want you taking their stuff & trying to return it back to the store to get money back. Some don't want anyone to get hurt. Others don't want people making a mess. But it is such a shame all of that goes to waste. Especially if its still good, usable or fixable.

Golly, you need a scoop to get all those smalls. Like a dustpan with a long handle. I've been tempted to buy one for that purpose. I can add it to my DD kit, flashlight, extra gloves, wipes, grabber, bags, clean shoes, stepstool and long handled dustpan. I could keep them in a lidded tote. Oooh, sell the kits with a recycling emblem on the lid. I could get the startup money from my garage sales!
Love to know if they have that here in Philadelphia because it looks like it is easy to do dumpster diving and I like the way Stephen repairs the stuff and everything
Have to tell you guys something. I spent a the past 24 hours in the hospital after an accidental overdose from my med pump( long story short it's to control symptoms of muscular dystrophy) but luckily I had my phone with me and a fully charged battery and when I was awake I hopped on you tube and was happily dumpster diving with StevenSteph, and it was a great score day! Woohoo!!😊 I would love to dive if I can figure out how to do it from my fancy wheelchair.( It goes up in height 16") and talk my friend into being my "getaway driver"

The little Owl ornament is one of many types I find at Cracker Barrel here in the south. They come in sooooo many designs. I would love to have one of each, but the cost is way out there...lol ..You can put small keepsakes inside as well.
I would have so taken those tote tops..they crack, after awhile...need replacements..it shocks me, every ti e, to see what they toss out...keep on keepin on✌👍

Golly, you need a scoop to get all those smalls. Like a dustpan with a long handle. I've been tempted to buy one for that purpose. I can add it to my DD kit, flashlight, extra gloves, wipes, grabber, bags, clean shoes, stepstool and long handled dustpan. I could keep them in a lidded tote. Oooh, sell the kits with a recycling emblem on the lid. I could get the startup money from my garage sales!

Have to tell you guys something. I spent a the past 24 hours in the hospital after an accidental overdose from my med pump( long story short it's to control symptoms of muscular dystrophy) but luckily I had my phone with me and a fully charged battery and when I was awake I hopped on you tube and was happily dumpster diving with StevenSteph, and it was a great score day! Woohoo!!😊
I would love to dive if I can figure out how to do it from my fancy wheelchair.( It goes up in height 16") and talk my friend into being my "getaway driver"

The little Owl ornament is one of many types I find at Cracker Barrel here in the south. They come in sooooo many designs. I would love to have one of each, but the cost is way out there...lol ..You can put small keepsakes inside as well.

I am learning how to hand embroidery things and one pattern I saw was lovely lavender flowers in a circle and the words in the center were “Have a nice Poop” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Put that sign in your bathroom in the eyeliner of the toilet when you sit you guests will be busting a gut. Well I would🤣🤣🤣

You could used a cube and have the cat coming out and make a bookend or doorstop out of it. Have Steve fill the cube with concrete you can paint black and set the back half of the cat in it. Might look neat or creepy never know Halloween is coming, the one legged dude could ride him🤣🤣🤣🤣♥️
