The original Frasier is my all-time favourite sitcom that I can watch repeatedly and enjoy. The reboot didn’t make me laugh once, I tried to like it I really wanted to.
I think it is necessary the end. I think it could take up to at least a year to find a new buyer. Kelsey Grammar comes across someone who can communicate and tapped into the market. He might become very lucky and find a buyer in weeks but I imagine this year we will not know about a new buyer until we have reached the end of the year.
The same thing took place with the That 70s Show reboot. When they focused on the original characters (esp. Red and Kitty), it was much better than when they did the new kids storylines. It too lasted two seasons (and was also cancelled this year.) Another example is Star Trek Piccard. While there are some interesting new characters, the show simply was much better when we had the Next Gen characters - in fact, they got smart and made Season 3 (the final season) an 8th season of ST Next Gen.
Meh I watched some of the first season, wasn't impressed. The cast is kinda dull and mismatched. the writing is cheesy and predictable. Sad because the original Frasier is one of the best, well-written series ever on TV!

They got away from what the show was about. Especially the MAIN CHARACTERS.
