In the description, I made a note about this: For the last bell in 1-?, don't wake up any of the sleeping enemies (going "zzz") The sign at the beginning of the level says "Zz" and apparently that's supposed to be a good hint lol, but I actually had to look this one up!
It's easiest to collect coins by catching sharks and octopi in 2-Fish, which you can reach after buying the 100 coin boat ride in 2-Home. If you don't want to do that, I suggest replaying 1-2 to earn coins.
Yeah, the bell toll makes it annoying for new players to get into the game as much. If I didn't like the game so much I'd probably stop playing if I found out I have to backtrack

In the last phase, if you want to get the bells that have stones, just use the mages, making them break the stones with fire.

You need to use Rigs, the black cat, to do a double jump (Rigs jumps a second time when he hits an enemy)
Ok so I understand that you need the cat Rigs for getting most of the bells in world 1. That's why I didn't understand what I was doing wrong. 😅
