@@Art-of-Akrosh My personal hope is that they add vertex pinning so you can carefully align the loops around the eyes, mouth, etc, by hand and then smooth all of the surrounding and interior verts without affecting them.
This is a fork of polyQuilt that's been updated and ships with blender 4.2. It's pretty darn good for a free solution! I haven't faced any trouble at all. Except for the brush tool not responding but that's pretty rare and can be fixed by restarting the program.

Isn't polyQuilt outdated? I had some difficulties even with the resurrected version a while ago...

How did you reenable the Retopology viewport setting on my 4.2.3 LTS version it doesnt exist
That's odd. I'm using the same version. It should immediately appear when you Tab into "edit mode".
I can't find it on my add ons.
Search under get extensions. Also make sure you have version 4.2.3 LTS.
I dont have the poly patch option. Is this separate?
In version. 4.2.3 after enabling the extension you can find it directly under the polyQuilt tool.
