    I used to learn English by watching videos about wildlife, so now I have a good understanding of the vocabulary used in these videos. 😁

    I stick to listening to CNBC news podcast every day for the past 4 months. I think the anchors and hosts speak really fast even by native speakers' standard, it was hard to keep up with what they said at the beginning. Now I can understand 80%~90%-ish of the content. Do I reach the advanced level on the listening comprehension front?

    Hi. Repetition doesn't work.

    • @henriqueajo
      @henriqueajo 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Maybe it doesn't work for you because you are not exposing yourself enough to content you really enjoy and already understand more than 90%. If you keep repeating content you don't enjoy and there's a lot you don't know, your brain won't categorize all that stuff and create patterns.
      You have to trust your brain and its ability to automatically understand structures on its own.
