Hi! You mentioned that with virtual box you can put the "machine folder" onto an external ssd. Do you know that other virtual machines like UTM could do that too? It would be very helpful for m1 macbook with win 11

Why is the Virtual Machine OS working so slow on my Mac (High Sierra, 10.13.6, 3GHz i5)? Any advices? Is it that my Mac's too old for this procedure?

Hi, when I pressed start on the VirtualBox, it would load into the blue windows 11 logo. After a few minutes if it staying on my screen, it would pop up an error called "Guru Meditation" and would require me to shut the VM off. Please let me know how to fix this. I also tried to reduce RAM/Memory but that did nothing.

Hi, thank you for your video, but I have a problem - while Guest additions installing at some moment screen turnes black and stops responding. If I wait like two minutes, the VM restarts and just freezes while starting. I see only VirtualBox logo and the spinner that stopped spinning. I tried to reinstall the system from scratch - the same result. Any help would be highly appreciated!
Using old Guest additions v6.1.44 helped.

Great vid thanks so much! However, when it came to signing in to the Microsoft account it, looks like Microsoft have now removed the option to sign in with an Offline Account as part of the Sign In Options. I fortunately remembered an ancient Microsoft Account I had from many years ago which I was able to successfully use instead.
I still think you can bypass it. If you are Windows Pro you will have domain join option
My Mac keeps saying I have to reinstall it and it keeps closing when I hit the start button but ill reinstall it and see what happens

getting this message: "The installer has detected an unsupported architecture. VirtualBox only runs on the amd64 architecture." I tried changing settings in security & privacy, but I'm not seeing what you mentioned.
You must be on Apple Silicon. Be sure to download correct virtualbox file. Should say ARM
i get an error when i want to press install it says this PC cannot install windows 11

Make sure you are on latest version of virtualbox. Have to have minimum specs mentioned in video.

Maybe. You can store your virtual machine file on a external hard drive or storage device like a flash drive.

Greeting Mister. Thank you for your useful videos. I have one issue. You know VB has released another new version and process is a little bit different than previous one. And while installing I am having problem saying "You must specify a machine to start, using the command line. Usage: VirtualBoxVM --startvm <name|UUID> Starts the VirtualBox virtual machine with the given name or unique identifier (UUID)". Tried to solve the problem, watched related youtube vides. But did not work. Could you make a video on this specific problem? Thank you.

Excellent! Just one point - On MacOS Monterey I pressed Shift>F10 to reach the Windows Command Box, not FN>Shift>F10

The latest version of virtualbox should fix that. Unless you have M1.

Yes. You can run 32 bit but not 64. Not sure when virtualbox will be updated.

When I try to install the latest Windows 11 22H2 version (Pro N Edition) on my VirtualBox, I get stuck on the privacy settings because the checkboxes of the different options just don't appear. Do you have an idea how to either enable them or skip/bypass the privacy settings in the installation manager altogether?
