the 3 year closure has proven that the corals and wildlife can recover, proving that humans are capable of prioritising nature above economics. Good for you Thailand. This new way of entering Maya Bay, and in strictly enforced numbers, will continue to preserve nature whilst satisfying our desire to visit this unique place. Thanks for your quality filming.
The National Park has made a decision for mooring and swimming at Maya Bay to be prohibited nowadays, to do not disturb all sharks and reef corals. The sharks were back to a bay and the corals were recovering since the bay was shut off during COVID-19
Having been to Maya Bay on day trips from Krabi, Phuket and from Phi Phi Islands before and during the closure, I am glad that they have taken a lot more control over it. The first couple of times I went there, it was so overcrowded that it became unbearable so I went early in the next few times before they cosed it around 7.30am and left before the mad rush around 9.00am, then the last visit was from the speedboat. Now it looks like they have controlled it, stopping people swimming in there and just chilling on the beach - I think they will need to keep it like this from now on
@@jomontanee I do kind of agree in what you said but I have seen it when it so was overcrowded and it wasn't nice. It just needs control and not let it ruin again

น่าจะทำเป็นทางขึ้นลงบันได 2ทางระหว่างทางขึ้น และทางลง one way ผู้คนจะได้เข้า ออก ไม่ต้องเดินสวนทางกัน ในเส้นทางเดียวกัน
I agree with you Peter. I just hope they keep it like this from now on
Glad to see Maya bay once a lost paradise has a chance to recover.

Even with the people, it is still so beautiful. Thanks .

Is there swimming allowed in the beach?
You must see el nido...
yes, to make a video for your subscribers))
Everyone was busy taking pictures.
They went to Maya Bay for this.
hahaha
Still not open the beach for swimming.
You have unlimited time on the bay. So you take 30 minutes filming or taking pictures and hours to just relax in this paradise.
ห้ามลงเล่นน้ำใช่ไหมครับ ผมเรียกที่นี้ว่าสวรรค์
ใช่ คุณไม่สามารถว่ายน้ำได้ โชคไม่ดี
At what time of the day did you go there? :)

The Beach
What camera do you use?
I use phone Samsung s21 ultra
@@walkertv4634 Not 4k right?
7:51, a swimmer??? I was here in February and you weren’t even allowed to have the water go up above your ankles
And 8:18 You hear the loud whistle on thar “swimmer” and a woman warned “NO SWIMMING PLEASE”.
are you not aloud to swim?
There is a guard there. If people go into the water, he comes up and warns them not to go into the water again.
The beach should remain closed
Yes I agree. They should have cordoned it off and just have viewpoints of taking pictures of the beach, sea and the view (of course)
WHY? The mesmerizing nature should be appreciated, not hidden. But you need boundaries and regulations to preserve the nature. That is all.

Cruel as some tourists dress no respect without shame and reason. Nobody knows me, I'm on vacation. To the puke.... .

Do you have the authorization to publish the pictures of those people, especially in swimming suits? Are you a stalker?
A stalker? Because they took a video of a beach? Don’t be an idiot. Seriously. And you don’t know what the true definition of a stalker is
