    How people get we shouldn’t celebrate Christmas or have a Christmas tree from this passage about the tree is beyond me. It’s about what is in the heart and Who you worship. The entire Bible teaches us this. It’s the heart we have towards God. That’s what He sees. Who is bowing down to their Christmas tree?

    Thank you, FATHER, for it is written. Have Mercy for you will not put more on us than what we can bear. 1 Corinthians 10:13.

    What a teaching! Well explained and as always, threading through historical examples to illustrate Biblical times and understanding their customs in that era 👍🏼 the Bible comes alive when I study it with Pastor Paul and Sue!

    The tattoo thing, totally a conviction issue, as Paul said - talk to God about it. I'm sitting here with lots of tattoos and when he said they're dumb it made me laugh 😂 I now agree, you sit in pain, have your skin cut for what, in hindsight, was vanity. I have Christian tattoos too, which I got to remind me of God but they seem unnecessary now - maybe I wouldn't have needed to be reminded of those promises if I was reading my Bible more often 🙈 I don't care if another Christian gets a tattoo but personally I don't think it honours God.

    I am in Jeremiah, first time studying it, having gone thru the New testament. I really hope that I have learned something. I have not gone to Church for 2 years i.e since the covid pandemic. Thank you Pastor Paul for the wonderful tutorial. God bless you

    I don't think Jesus was born on Dec 25th so I think 🤔 it's important to celebrate him daily. Dates are really off but Pagen (aka astrology) does set dates and times. I thank you for your word. I pray to God that he reveals what we do, if it's wrong or against his will.

    • @katebee945
      @katebee945 ปีที่แล้ว

      God set dates for festivals too. Jesus is recorded as celebrating Hannukah which is not Biblical but was a miracle of God as was the birth of Messiah. Jesus almost certainly wasn't born on the 25th but celebrating that miracle of God or not is a conviction issue ❤

    Wow...this is the 2nd time I've listened to this teaching and I got even more out of ...at least I hope I did...somebody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this...Jer ch 10 v 10....when the Word refers to ' the portion of Jacob for He is the Maker of all things'.....I read that as a reference to Jesus....If it's not then fine... but if it is...it's a mind blowing reference for me.
    GOD bless and keep you all

      Through prayer. Direct line to the Lord. Ask for an encounter, to be filled with the Holy Spirit, to open your heart that he might meet you.

    Thank You Pastor Paul for all the great videos you have available on your site. It is a wealth of information, wisdom and a valuable resource. Do you have the link to the sermon you mention at end of this video on the comparisons of the old and new covenant - I believe you mention it is from the book of Hebrews.. Please post it here so I can view that. Thank you again for your fine commitment in digging into the Word and pulling up these great nuggets found within.

    Enjoying the teaching
    King James does not mention cutting corners of hair. It says in all that are in the upmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness. I hate when Bibles change God’s word

    • @PastorPaulLeBoutillier
      @PastorPaulLeBoutillier 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello Shirley. You've made an assumption that the King James translation is the standard and all the others should be judged according to that standard. Respectfully, that is an incorrect assumption. The other Bible translations have NOT "changed God's Word." They have accurately and clearly translated the original languages so that modern readers can understand better. If you look in your King James Bible at Jeremiah 9:25-26 you will see a footnote explaining that the Hebrew can refer to having the corners of one's hair polled. (removed). God bless you.

    Yeah that is Rubbish... About the whole Christmas tree. The Verse is taken out of Context. (This is also coming from someone researching Christmas and the Pagan holiday for the Roman God Saturn)
