Good truck wash video. One thing that is missing is the interior cleaning. To detail the interior, some truck stops will have these truck washes on site and a laundry facility also onsite. To do the sleeper, strip the bed, so you can take the bedding inside to be washed, then after vacuuming the interior, best way to do the steering column you want to shift the wheel position to the lowest position to get the front or upper part, then shift the wheel to the top position to get the bottom part of the steering column. Then for the shift boot, due to many trucks today have one shift lever with air switches. Go thru all the transmission ranges, so you can get the entire switches and the little box on the shift lever. To get the boot, best thing to do for if it's a 5-speed pattern, you want to shift to 2nd gear and 3rd gear so you can get the entire boot. Older trucks may have a separate lever for the auxiliary box. So on the boot for that lever, if the auxiliary is a duplex, then just work the lever between the high and low gears. If the auxiliary is a 3-speed or a 4-speed, then to get the boot, go thru all the gears in that box as well including the deep under gear. Sometimes you may need to take the rings out that sits at the bottom of the boot so they too can be scrubbed.

Why are you rinsing from the bottom to the top?
Scotty, I've always wondered that too! Heavily soiled surfaces bottom up.. It's SUPPOSE to make it streak free. NOW WASHING, top down. Just what I've read..

the years will pass, and there will always be people who doesn't know the difference between a normal cleaning, and a contactless cleaning, contacless cleaning bottom to the top
It is always really pissing me off to read or talk to stupid people not understanding why you wash bottom to top by touchless cleaning.. Always crying about wasting time and water and not understanding that there are 3 working steps and not 2 (1st spraying the foam, 2nd washing with high pressure water and 3rd rinsing everything off at the end). But I save my nerves and just don't even start to argue with them. It's the same as talking to vegans when you have studied nutrition and health but they know better..

Wow! That came out so clean and new looking! Although surely you would go top to bottom?
They go bottom-top-bottom to agitate the foam to get it all the dirt flowing
I would agree. But by watching, I realize that the dirt splashed up from driving down the highway cakes on towards the bottom. So when you spray on the cleaner, you spray at the bottom, work your way to the top causing the cleaner to agitate forcing the caked on dirt down at the bottom to fall off. As you spray your way back down, the cleaner that is prying the dirt loose gains strength and as you come back down, your high pressure forces the dirt off. At a carwash, they have high-speed brushes that can whack the dirt off towards the the bottom of the car.

You always wash top to bottom. Otherwise if you wash the bottom first then rinse the top then all the dirt from the top runs over the already cleaned bottom part of the car/truck.
In reality the dirt is encapsulated in the foam and doesn't re-adhere to the car if you rinse thoroughly, but you are still working in a backwards fashion.
Always better to work with gravity, rather than against it.

Should be washing ALWAYS FROM,THE TOP DOWN not bottom up
You obviously don’t know how the foam works then.. you go bottom to top back down again as it agitates the soap and gets it moving everything downwards
Friction wash is top to bottom.
Contactless is bottom to top, so the pressure hits the foam, instead of flushing it off. Then final rinse is top to bottom. 👍✌
