    I like the Knipex grips. The bird beak ones come in handy. The red handle is a release so you don’t have to pull them apart.

    You completely overlooked the best feature of these in the way they open. Pinch the red lever inward. They don’t fly open like vise grips. That’s why they seem tight is because your not unlocking them.

    The way these release is truly brilliant. Wonderful to use them.

    You're opening those wrong. Those versions, when closed, squeeze the red handle inward to release. Irwins version is the kind you pull apart.

      @kiralypeter88 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah. That makes opening them a lot easier.

      And when t u use the red handle and pinch it tp the opposite handle you can control the jaw opening by opening and closing just the red handle and the fixed handle

    I did not realize Knipex made any of these tools. I'll have to invest in these sometime over the next year. Thank you for sharing. You've introduced me to a lot of great tools over the last few months that I've been binging your videos.

    I'd love Knipex to make an auto adjusting set of the welding clamp pliers. Would be very handy, particularly on a drill press.

    Would love to see a comparison of the HAZET Smart Holder vs the Wera toolcheck. I haven't seen a video on that yet and the Hazet set looks great

    Knipex does not produce these. This is one of the product types that Knipex rebrands. Bollmann-Selzer produces the locking pliers and unbranded from OEM they are typically 3/4 to 1/2 the price of the Knipex branded ones.

  • @HaasGrotesk
    @HaasGrotesk ปีที่แล้ว

    These are not even Knipex. They're designed and made by another company then just rebranded as Knipex. I ordered a pair of these and got the exact same model but with the "Wurth" brand.

    • @MillisConstruction
      @MillisConstruction  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wurth is German as well…. I’ve heard very good things about them too

    • @HaasGrotesk
      @HaasGrotesk ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MillisConstruction The fact that a brand "is German" doesn't mean a thing. Wurth does not make ANY tools everything Wurth has is a rebrand of another tool. So when you buy Wurth you're actually buying something else. Exact same thing with these pliers you show here. These are not Knipex but a rebrand of another tool company. These do not have the Knipex quality at all. Doesn't matter that they are made in Germany or not.
