I don’t run suicides, have willpower. He’d get constant regen and as many specials as I want. Also have two science awakening for months. No Void, Torch, Thing. He seems viable for a lot of end game content not running suicides. Not going to awaken now. I want Wolvie as R5. But he’s probably next rank up after the mutants as I wait for more T5 cat. No synergies but seems god potential for questing, longer fights: great damage, regen, and very tanky. I could do worse on awakening I’m thinking. But may wait until after these featured are done. I’ve got Doom, Red Mags, Cap IW at R5. I’m not sure if I go all or most mutant team with Apoc or a Doom, Cap, maybe Apoc/AA or Wolvie or Mags, then add Abomb... Anyhow no need to awaken until R4 and using him. I remember the class AG. I was anything but science. Anything. And gave me a second science.....
Got the 5* version of iBom from a nexus a few months back then pulled the 6* version a few days after that and from there after playing him a few times just love the playstyle, the animation is awesome though he looks horrible. If only I formed science t5cc first when I got thronebreaker last month he probably be my 1st r3 6star but instead r3 my Colossus, luckily today I finally formed my t5 science catalyst to r3 this monster of a champ! So I came to revisit your breakdown to make sure I'm not missing out on his playstyle and potential. As always thank you brother for all your guides! By the way got the 6* version duped so he'll be my number 1 top champ on my profile, will probably r5 my 5* version too once I'm done with some of my science rank ups on queue.
Abom has a weird interaction with the new science Cavalier difficulty node. You gain weakness unless you place a non damage debuff on the defender. And Abom inflicts a weakness debuff when you block or parry if you have poison debuffs inflicted on yourself. But the node purifies all the poisons so you can’t inflict a weakness... so In theory Abom would be a great option for this node.... if the node didn’t purify all poisons...
Lol, all you said doesn't matter haha. Have you really tried him there? You get to Acid Burn like so fast (no SP3 needed). Combine that with the furies you get, the ticks alone will kill the opponents. Each fight there minus the ones he can't do are all dead under 1 min for a rank 5 unduped.
Love using him as a R4 5*... Just waiting for the resources to R5 him! So far the champs never let me get more than one sp2 to sp1 cycle before they melt.

With Sasy boy i suggest that you should take the fight a little long at first cause he need to get the Wrath of Tanarag and you should dup him cause he will unstoppable when WoT is on and that moment my friend he is definition of a Candian Beast

Sunspot is nowhere among gods...i have not done sunspot r5 yet....he is no where in mutants i have like namor.omega.domino..and 3 more..like acrh..and more..so i have done 2 mutants r5 till now..and 3rd gonna be namor
His signature ability allow him to build analysis charges faster and opponent's power drain abilities are less effective against sentinel, his signature ability not so important so you can rank him up
I’m not one of the ‘big end game players’. But are people thinking he might be on top 5 for end game content? Longer fights. Suicide friendly. But also without them, great regen with willpower and can keep spaming specials. A six star ranked or 5 star R5....he’s going to be a lane clearing monster... Maybe a better pull than Apoc, not considering the mutant awesomeness of Apoc?
