Thank you Frank. It was a challenging day with the Northern Rail strike and limited rail service from Newcastle and no trains to Swinton stopping at all. I got there by bus from Doncaster which ran quite regularly. It was very cold but nothing like that I have experienced in the North East this last week. Cheers - Allan.

Very rousing from Crommy and adore chime whistles !Your captures of the Brit and the 5 so are exemplary sir.You really caught the occasion perfectly too. Thanks for watching. Its normally just a refurbishment of the current boiler I believe, replacing tubes and stays etc with many other things that may need repairing or replacing. Cheers - Allan.
