Hi, Matt with etrailer. If you have a 2024 Ford Bronco, and you're trying to get through those more moderate snow and ice conditions, but you want a chain that's pretty easy to get on and off your vehicle, then a Titan Chain tire chain is gonna be a great option for you. So let's check them out. Now we're gonna have this on tire size 255/75R17. Now this will fit a variety of other sizes. That's just the size we have today.
And we're gonna have this on our front axle. It's what the manual recommends. Now if you're not sure if this is gonna fit your vehicle, you can actually plug in your vehicle's information into our fit guide to find the right one for you. We can take a closer look at these links now. So first up, these are gonna be made out of a manganese nickel alloy.
So they're gonna be very durable, and they're gonna last you a long time to be more rust resistant. And they're gonna have this square link design to them. What that square link design is doing is helping giving us a little bit extra bite to get through that thicker ice. And on top of that, we're going to have this diamond pattern to these chains. And what's nice about a diamond pattern is it gives us a little bit more surface area on the tire, in turn, giving us more traction to help you make those turns.
And what's great about these is they're gonna be class S chains, which is perfect for what we have today 'cause we don't have a whole lot of space behind our tire back here, so you don't have to worry about this making contact with anything. And something else that's gonna help with that is gonna be the assisted tensioning tensioner on here. So how this works is we're gonna have these links that apply tension to multiple points on our links until we get up to this point right here. You're gonna have this integrated rubber tensioner, and that's actually gonna be able to stretch and pull. So what happens a lot of times when you're driving on those snowy roads with chains, your chains can actually shift a little bit, and when they shift, they loosen up.
This is going to help keep a lot of tension in your chains, so you don't get any of that slack, so you don't make contact with anything on your vehicle. And these chains are gonna come two to a set in this pretty durable bag. I like it 'cause it is a softer material, and it's really easy to store it in your Bronco. And what I think makes this one stand out is if we open it up, it actually has pockets to keep your chains separated because that can always be a pain if your chains are getting tangled together, and you're stuck on the road, you probably don't wanna deal with that. Now in my opinion, I think this is a great chain if you are just trying to get through those moderate snow and ice conditions, and you want something really easy to get on. Now if you're looking for something that's gonna be a little bit more bulkier and a little bit more heavy duty that's gonna last longer, then I'd recommend checking out the Pewag Brenta C tire chains. It's also gonna be an assisted tensioning tire chain, and they're just gonna be slightly bigger than these, but still be class S chains. Now the one downside to them being slightly bigger though is they're gonna be a bit closer to our suspension, and we don't have a whole lot of room back there. It will still fit, but I think what we have today will give you a little bit more peace of mind. Now if you are curious to see what this installation looks like, just stay tuned, we'll walk you through it. To start off the installation, I like to lay out my chains and grab some gloves just to make this a bit easier. And if you are doing this for the first time, I would recommend staying home trying this out 'cause you don't want to try to figure this out on the side of the road in the middle of a blizzard. But what we're looking for is to make sure there's no damages to our links, and nothing is twisted up. We also wanna make sure everything's in the right orientation. So this hook right here, we wanna make sure those are facing down, and the flat part is facing up, so it's away from our tire. Next up, we wanna make sure these yellow links are furthest away from our tire, and here in the center, we don't have anything connected. Once we have established that, we're gonna start putting this behind. Like to just push everything to the relative sides and just slide it behind my tire. Now if you're in a situation where you really can't slide these, you can try chucking them back there. It's just gonna depend on what
