Damn I get why GBB has 2 categories next year. Its just impossible to compare, I get the idea that rusy‘s round was maybe harder to do cause he doesn‘t have the equipment, but Watt‘s tracks were just more dynamic and the sound quality is insane.
I think its insane how one of the happiest and most smiley persons(rusy), made one of the mostt evil and dark tracks i ever heard on a loopstation, the vibe, the feelings that go trough your body while that plays its insane, it gives me kinda like cruising trough a horror game, cyberpunkt style vibes
right, i get serious DOOM vibes listening to this ( i know he based it on akira dont come for me i dont make that connection its sounds like a doom track to me :P)

Watt got robbed. I was FEELING his music, esp. that 2nd round. Rusy had a bit slow of a buildup 2nd round and there was clipping in his 1st round. Kristof would be proud of this round 6:02. Edit: Watt's 2nd round is Brez's Im the Only One Left if the Fat Rat produced a remix
Rusy hands down made the best round (2nd) by far and won this battle fair and square, it's just a stupidly unique one. Watt also had nice rounds with multiple devices but they did not stand out as Rusy's 2nd round 🔥🔥🔥
I disagree. While Rusy's 2nd round was pretty crazy, Watt's 2nd round was a downright masterpiece that will be remembered for a long time. The clean composition skills and serene drops just edged out Rusy imo. I thought Watt's 1st round was much stronger than Rusy's first too.
I kinda think Watt wins it more, as Rusy's 1st round was a bit underwhelming really, compared to the other rounds overall. I also think the judges judged more based on the amount of devices they used. After all, Rusy's 2nd round had the most surprise, since we can tell that he uses only one device.
If by their decision the judges see the evolution of the loopstation in the direction of Rusy's rounds, I will have to close this hobby for myself. I absolutely disagree with the decision, the Watt is musically more pleasant to the ear and more dynamic. I understand that comparing for example britney spears and aphex twin is inappropriate purely technically, but .... the vibe is everything, and here the vibe is on the side of the Watt.
