Important tip for Newcastle mains: don’t ask for a gold knockdown Shield every time. A purple knockdown shield has as much health as a gold one, so give it to the noobiest member of your squad if you don’t need it.
I second that, also people will now know to thirst you extra if you flash a gold during a rez!
To be honest I wouldn't trust the worst member of our squad to clutch up a 1v3 at the same time tho
At this point, he’s the best with gold knockdown so that people wouldn’t get instantly bullet sponged when he uses it in fights

About giving Newcastle the best knockdown shield don’t give him the gold knockdown shield, if enemy’s see a gold shield on Newcastle they will target the Newcastle first and attack him the hardest

@@bullseye- uh.. dude, do you know what his passive does? It changes based off of Newcastles knockdown shield (if you have a purple one and revive it will be visibly purple)
Originally I thought that Newcastle was gonna be worse Gibby, but seeing his gameplay, I have a feeling hes gonna have a place in the meta, maybe even used along with Gibby
I have been using newcastle with my friend who plays gibby and we have been winning all the time. This combo is so broken!

@@hedrbohlega2595 he’s unintentionally a troll character. You can block people in rooms, you can bait a fight and then just dip with his ult, his entire kit is a lot of fun to play.
Fax I also think a legend simply being effective at their role while not being broken makes them fun which he definitely is.
For anyone who plays valorant, gabe kunda is also the voice actor for Kay/o. Such a talented person
I’d like to see a closet filled with all his legend imitations. Maybe one day he’ll put all them on at once. Newcastle’s helmet with Valkyries jetpack and fuses arm.

current bug that you can capitalize on, his ult has infinite range when targeting a dead teammates banner. Make sure that the banner is more than 200 meters away since that is the hard coded limit of the ult and will let you keep 75% of your ult while moving you towards the banner
It's not infinite, it stops after enough distance

Fun fact when the knockdown shield needs to recharge after reviving your teammate with Newcastle just drop the knockdown and pick it back up again it's a really good cheese that I recommend to do
False, it doesn't update visually iirc, if you hover over it should show 100% in your inventory
The "Hey,i'll catch you later ya noob" should be the new voice line its so good lol
He’s also pretty well balanced. Any movement tool can easily counter his kit, which also gives a much needed buff to movement based characters

@@luvenpelagius1072 take path for example. He was good. Just good. He needed a use other than “funny line go brr” to be great imo. Adding Someone that path can counter I think is a buff

@@Cardboard_Ukulele yeah but the "much needed buff" part still doesn't make sense. Literally all movement based legends are at the top of the tier lists and are always the most popular. Pathfinder is an exception because his ultimate got a bit outdated compared to other movement characters now and he still doesn't have a real passive.
Noobcastle is the hero we all needed, but never knew we wanted till now.

u forgot that his ult shield actually does damage and stun enemies when they touches it. it last for 30 second after the wall is placed.
Newcastle is surprisingly balanced with what his kit is right now and I like it

currently noobcastle is really broken, since you can put every item on his tactical : revenant totem, horizen lift , caustic traps , arc stars, and you can push them through the doors as well. i gotta say , thats ALOT of fun to play with

I watched your catalyst video earlier and I got some good info :) you really make learning this game fun and make it not seem to competitive unlike other TH-camrs I tried to learn from. I just love gabe's voice, he like also did Mha rock lock or Kay/o in valorant but i really love him finally beeing also in my favourite game
I love playing as the support player so I’ve been using him a lot. Just difficult when your teammates are blood thirsty leaving you behind while you’re still trying to loot for good weapons so you can’t really be there to support them.

You can also attach caustic traps and Gibby bubble to the shield so one would suspect that jump pad will go on it too as well as horizon ultimate

Macro if you throw an archstar at the edge of the mobile shield and than move the edge of the shield through a wall the explosion will hit others on the other side of the wall.

Noobcastle is my new main actually! Loving how wholesome he is, really takes the weight off of Pathfinder.
If you pair new castles ult with rampart and rampart puts a wall right behind the tall walls and you climb it you get a good place to shoot enemies

Fun fact, if two Newcastles ult into each other (like in the firing range) you boomerang straight back to where you were, it's kinda hilarious
