I lost my youngest brother last January 25, 2021 because of motorcycle accident. Lagi nyang kinakanta 'tong kantang ito. My father passed away recently, in an unexpected time, we’ve never had much memories together and its really hard to move forward knowing you didn’t have the time to at least pay him back from everything he has done to me. This song really reminds me of him. I hope anyone reading this, love the people who gives everything to you, make memories with them. Make them happy because time won’t wait for you.

My father died oct 14, 2020, 2 days after his birthday oct 11. He was about to be discharged, but when we're about to go to the elevator. The nursed noticed that there was blood coming out his mouth. Then I just burst into tears, telling him I loved him and sorry for the all the sins that I made. I was guilty because i wasn't able to tell him that when he was still okay. But after I said those things to him, I saw him smiled, and that was it, he was gone 😭😭😭 I missed him everyday. I hope he's fine.

Yung pinakanagustuhan ko sa version na to ay yung huling chorus, if manonotice nyo sa original, yung "sa kabilang buhay" na line ay kinakanta as second voice pero dito kinakanta sya ng main vocalist habang yung mismong chorus yung nasa second voice. February 14, 2019. That's when we lost him. I didn't know, no one told me that he's in ICU, fighting for his life. But I know, they did it on purpose because you don't want me to get distracted on my studies (I was a student teacher that time and a graduating student). But yeah, I graduated and took the Licensure Exam on the same year and luckily, I passed. That's my gift for you. Even if we both know that I won't pursue teaching. Lol. It's just sad 'cause I always pray to God na, Lord kahit pagtapos nalang ng graduation ko. He sacrificed his life for us and for me to graduate. Deserve nya makita akong nakasuot ng itim na toga at makita yung pangalan ko sa passers. Pero wala eh di natin alam yung panahon.

I am listening this song at already 12:16 am and I wasn't expecting that their version would give me great impact which brought me into tears. All of my tears coming out because this song reminds me of my dad who died when I was 3 years old. He committed suicide and left me without hesitation. It really hurts growing old without the first man you have ever love. I miss my dad so bad. I want to hug him and tell everything my story and my pain. I know that he's guiding me and he knows what I've been through but I am still hoping that I could hug him. 😭
