Artist Talk: Igshaan Adams

Artist Igshaan Adams is in conversation with Hendrik Folkerts, curator of international contemporary art at the Moderna Museet, as they discuss the artist’s exhibition Desire Lines.
In his tapestries and textile installations, Adams shows us the gaps: information that is seemingly absent, intentionally overlooked, or rendered invisible in the spaces we inhabit individually and collectively. Folkerts talks with Adams about weaving, how the artist’s hometown in South Africa became a key source of inspiration for him, and his approach to space and the stories it holds.
