We can overlook it to a certain extent, but it does get annoying sometimes when it is overplayed - especially when he is fighting female characters.
Perona spent all her time working for Moria on Thriller Bark. That stuff was all government approved so she wouldn't have a bounty.
Plus even now no one knows those negatives are her ghost, her doings. So make sense that she still wouldn't have a bounty
Luffy spent more time with rayleigh than he did with his crewmates.
But his bond with his crew is unmatched.
Zoro spend more time with perona than he did with luffy
Sanji spend more time with all the okamas and Iva too, sooooo, you never know
@@nonamehero5570 we still don't know that for sure. For all we know, zoro was fighting monkeys (no pun) while mihawk and perona were chilling. They clearly said that Rayleigh spent 18 months training Luffy, the rest are just assumptions and probabilities.
I'm not denying what you said, but we need more clarity on it. Especially when zoro's left eye is still a mystery

Perona didnt literally say "boy-toy" in Japanese, but rather "I need to go find a new toy". So it's not necessarily as sexual as "boy-toy", though that translation is pretty funny. Personally, even though I dont typically speculate about these things, I do have a feeling that Zoro and Perona may have had some kind of... unusual relationship during those two years. I could see it happen.
Zoro & Mihawk definitely taught Perona their Nitoryu style.

I actually really liked Fishman Island, even though the villain was no the most compelling. The setting was super cool, the new friends they made, the backstory and just how powerful the Straw Hats were was really cool to me.
