I 3d printed a mirror mount and attached it to my dive computer strap.

Definitely on the list! Not really interested in diving alone, but always intrested in building skills. Thanks, great video!

Sidemount configuration is the best configuration for a Solo diver 🤠
The greater majority of my diving outside teaching is solo diving especially since I am doing UW photography.

I’ve always loved to dive alone I do find more peaceful and relaxing
As long as while you dive alone you
have to use your common sense 🤙🤙🤙

On the path though ssi have most of the prerequisites, been diving for a year hit master diver. have 60 official dives and over 130 total. Luck to dive my own backyard. I been going solo already but want to go deep and have the cert for place that check. There are no scuba police. Rule number one dive within your limits.

How does this compare to cave diving, from what I’m slowly gathering what cave diving is all about redundancy, plus staged and carry different gases for different depths. Plus methodical techniques re enforcing good practice

Cave diving is a whole another level.

Cave diving and tech diving is different and this course is not a substitute.

Also in buddy diving actually. Nobody want to face a panic situation with a valve closed

You dont go underwater with a closed tank unless its a dropoff stage.

Thank you, I was wondering why it wasn't open already... Seems like a no-brainer if you run out of air in your main...

How do you attach a mirror to the back of your glove? Adhesive? Doesn't it fall off? Can you send a link to the exact mirror you used?

Is your life less important that a footage of a mimic octopus? Don't solo dive way too many things can go wrong bad fills to regulator failure and entanglements

    • @DecoLounge-scuba
      @DecoLounge-scuba  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

About the mimic. I'm not answering that lol. Anyways, many many people dive alone. So if that's the case it is a very good idea to get more training for that specifically. Plus, as I said it also makes you a much better dive buddy. I'm biased maybe, because I have a training facility, but I think you can never have too much education.

I wouldn't do it, anything can go wrong not just equipment but with the diver himself

      Self-Fulfilling prophecy
you can fly an airplane by yourself and it will go wrong also.
You could do skydiving on your own and could go wrong also.
You could take your car on the highway and it could go wrong also.
You could go down a river in a kayak and it could go wrong.
Solo diving is safe as long as you know your limit and know what you are doing. While solo diving you mitigate the risk with proper dive planning and gas management.
