I have just now worked up the courage to begin a bat pattern. My dads favorite animal was a bat and he passed November of 2022. You made this so easy to follow and even though I had to start and stop and come back a couple times I was able to follow along and made a bat and named him Ross after my dad. ❤
I love this! I’ve made 4 in 2 days while handling a 4 month old that doesn’t nap 😂. I can only crochet clothes and blankets etc and finally at able to do amigurumi!!
This is the first recognizable animal I’ve made!!!! Although one wing was wayyyy bigger than the other, I am still so happy at how it came out. Thanks so much for breaking it down so easily! ❤❤
That was one of the best tutorials. I love the instructions at the top. This is the first time I actually made something that resembles what it was supposed to look like. Lol
Thank you! Cute pattern but I really struggled on the wings and not being able to see my stitches. Stitch markers got me through it! All of your creations are so cute. Thanks again! 🦇👻
hello, first of all, thanks for the video and explanation, you explained it very well. So how do the measurements change for a large size? Does it double? (like the bat on the right in the video) I will be glad if you answer 💖💖
❤thank you teacher i so glad ifound you been look to crochet a bat this one is perfectly cool one will try doing it you expanded so hood hope mine will come out like yours 😇🥰
I'm in the process of making my first ever crochet blanket but I want to be able to.make your bat for Halloween so thankyou for the tutorial! I'll post a photo here when I finish it! I follow your insta as well and love all the cute animals you make 🥰🥰
Thanks so so much I can’t wait to make this! Quick question- I notice that some people in their tutorials crochet into the stitch where the stitch marker is but I see that you don’t…is there a right or wrong way of doing this? Should we not be crocheting in that last stitch where the marker is? Hope I make sense 😅
hey, I hope I'm not misunderstanding you. She does crochet into the stitch with the stitch marker, but it is the first stitch of the round and not the last. so at the end of the round, she takes it out to crochet into it and puts it back. I hope that makes sense? :)

I’m not sure but I think you could do a couple more rows of increases, use a thicker yarn or use double strands of your “thinner” yarn ☺️
