You guys are fantastic My friends and I are about your age and have accumulated thousands if not tens of thousands overall cards throughout our life.Shohei is the only reason I've become interested in baseball cards again, but your video has inspired me to stop buying cards and focus on our old cards. Our goal is to research and possibly start grading next year. There is a new grading company called Tag. Could be the future? Either way we thank you for your video.

Thanks for watching! Love that you guys are getting back into your old collections too. Let us know if you need any help along the way in your grading process. It's definitely the best way to secure and protect the value of those collections! And yes, we love the group at Tag and are also interested to see how they continue to grow. Have a good one!

Why do you think modern and ultra-modern collectors dont collect sets? What happens to all those commons?! I was born in 1969 and I’m trying to collect one major set in baseball, football, and basketball for each year of my life, and I find it surprising difficulty to find sets to buy produced in the last 20 years.

Sadly, many newer collectors focus more on the "big hits" rather than the joy of set collecting. Both Doug and I have countless personal hand collated sets we've built over the years and still understand the joy of finishing a treasured set whether it be modern or vintage.

I believe another crash is right around the corner

Thanks for your opinion! Many think we've seen a mini "crash" in terms of many key cards dropping in price from their peak in 2021. We are focused on the fact that millions of new collectors are still entering the industry despite many key cards being off their peak prices.

You guys are both in the business. Right? You have GOT to pump up the hobby. Twice as many corporate sponsors? The hobby is a Business!! Say it. Collectors are getting pushed aside. Panini suing Fanatics? Billions of $$$$ at stake? Do you think these 2 companies would give a shit if this was about "cards?" "Sales are strong?" Guys still trying to flip cards. #ProveMeWrong
Don't even get me started on grading.....

Yes, we are in the business but NO we do not have to pump the hobby. If you visit our store or watch our videos over time, we do our best to provide accurate analysis of what's going on, even when it's not so good. This video mainly was a focus on what we personally experienced at the national, which was the largest crowds in history and the best sales we've ever experienced out of the 21 nationals we have set up at. Thanks for watching!
