Mordheim is a great game. I am sure you'll love it. I am curious as to how/why you gave your heroes some skills from the start. Normally when you are creating a warband for a campaign, nobody starts the game with any skills from the start. There are rules for spending gold on skills and advancements, but those are for fighting individual battles, not for campaigns.
This is awesome! I am also building up a warband of Wargames Atlantic Conquistadores for Mordheim. I also put morions on a couple of guys from Ghost Archipelago (the guys without baggy pants), along with some other weapons from the Conquistadores set. So consider me hooked and subscribed.
the Wargames Atlantic Conquistadors actually fit better in the with the City States of Estalia and Tilea than the Empire. A good few Legions of Renown come from these areas which were part of the Dogs of War and the best fitting for these particular models would be Pirazzos Lost Legion. An Estalian or Tilean warband in Mordheim would be great.

just subscribed, ive recently discovered the pc game and loved it. got lots of fantasy figures and starting to get a board together so this is perfect timing for me as ive never played the tabletop version.. looking forward to your future vids....good luck

@@WarGamingNewb Blackjack Legacy has a monthly painting challenge. This month is pretty easy. (Letter "B" related. Will work on 3 groups at same time. One should be done on time.) Waiting to see what Crabbok will do for this month still.
Nice.. :) The models look cool. I think the human Mercenaries are underrated and overlooked by many new players. Both in modelling and gaming aspects. Atleast in my group, people always went for the more flashy stuff like Undead and Skaven.. But the humans are both fun and good with huge modelling opportunities.
There are so many different Human warbands that I'm surprised they're not more popular. But I get it, sometimes the flashier factions look cool. For me, coming from the Mordheim video game, I always play Empire or Sisters so it wasn't too difficult choosing a warband, though in truth, I really wanted to use these Conquistadors for something. A little too"Power gamey" and always look for the nasty stuff and while Humans can be god in GW games, it usually takes skill, knowledge and tactics. Something these individuals don´t have heaps of. ;) Much easier to see that Vampire stats and go for that.. For background, looks, modelling opportunities etc. I think they are great! And they have Academic Skills which I think are really good and overlooked by many.. My orcs lack that entirely (why?? ;) ) which is something I really miss.. but I guess I don´t play orcs for that.. hehe
