You look so good and healthy. Nice to see you. Loved the video
Clothes Dumpster is a hilarious name for a secondhand clothing store.
Agreed
It was a nice surprise seeing you uploaded a video. I love that you destroyed that shirt...well done!
Thailand has an avid vintage tee shirt and hawaiian shirt collecting culture, I've wholesale to collectors out there, I think the thrifts would be pretty picked over like in the US. I would recommend visiting vietnam for thrifting, great prices, awesome shops, amazing vintage selection, and a lot of high end Japanese stuff ends up there that doesn't often make it's way out west.
hey there, im headed out to vietnam (saigon) in about a month, are there any thrift spots you recommend to check out?
@@Antoniostakeover haven't been there but Nha Trang had lots of great spots. They call Thrifts :2hand shops" there
This is my favorite channel on TH-cam
Welcome to Thailand!! I'm on an extended visit and I'm down in Bangkok. Try hitting up some flea markets. I've found success there. Good luck
"Matt on the Map". Thanks for the content.
Good to see you, Matt! The two dresses you showed made with the mixed vintage fabrics could be worth taking another look at if you find yourself back at that shop. That vintage sort of mixed fabric patchwork style is so popular right now and can sometimes sell for hundreds!
You are looking well Matt! So glad to see you and on point as usual. Let us know how life is for you 😊
I’m glad that shirt no longer exists, especially in Southeast Asia
This is my lucky day! I was just thinking about you and how much I missed your thrifting videos. Thanks for posting.
Dude, they are opening a new goodwill outlet (bins) in downtown San Diego this month 😱😱😱
Wow I just moved from San Diego to Phoenix. And I went to the downtown Goodwill all the time. It sucked but the bins will be great
It is so good to see a video from you. I really enjoyed it. Hope you’re doing well.
Hi, Matt! Thank you for sharing - glad that you are enjoying your travels.
Glad you are back!
Best part of the video...seeing you destroy that brand of shirt. Glad to see you are alive and doing well.
Hey Matt! Good seeing you! You look happy and rested!💕 you're showing your age by not knowing about The Knack😂. They had a hit song My Sharona in the late 70's. 🎶
Loved the video...the end was the best👏👏
In an ancillary observation, you look very healthy and vibrant since leaving US soil. Godspeed and Good Health friend.
I have been watching a bunch of Thailand and other travel videos lately so it was fun to see a reselling one.
Loved this chill mini adventure video and as always your humor. Felt like I was walking thru Thailand with a friend bantering away, seeing new things. Glad you’re out living life and its good to see you again :)
Thanks for sharing, this was cool and unique!
Look up the lazy peon. He's a youtuber who lives there in Thailand. He's from England but a cool guy maybe yall could have dinner or a few drinks...
Really fascinating. Thanks for sharing this.
Glad to see you back. Now you've made me want to move to Thailand.... or Bali.
Cool stuff man, I just found “golf” brand the other day, and didn’t know how to look it up. Still teaching me stuff from across the world. Appreciate it big dawg
YAY MATT'S BACK! That Morgan Homme brand has some good comps.
Nice vid Matt really enjoyed watching . Happy travelling :))
Welcome back!❤
Great to see you 💓
Glad to see you go to the Thai “bins” thanks for sharing
Great to enjoy a little view of the other side of the world. Great to see you
Enjoy your adventure!
I am confused about the Grunt Style Shirt. Could someone please explain. Thank you
lol the Thailand bins 😂 too cool , glad your traveling around . Hope your well . I used to sell grunt style on posh . Fast flips but low profit
Glad to see you, Yeah you look good!
Thailand looks amazing! I bet you're loving it! If I get move there and resell for a living there that would be amazing
I live in Chiang Mai in the 90’s they had some bins back then was fun! Good luck
Hello! Good to see you!
I was just in Japan the thrifting scene is big out there especially Kyoto and Osaka
Hey thank you for your content. I found a Saville Rd. jacket today. And I found the pants to a Brooks Brother’s jacket rooting through the sea of Dockers. Dockers and Bill Ass and Haggass. You’ve made me a better thrifter and I appreciate you. Still getting fooled by Savane like every time (Savan-ass) but I am better and faster and love selling men’s clothes.
Seeing you cut up that grunt style shirt reminded me of why your my favorite
more vlogs like this would be appreciated.
How about (Lifes-a-thrift travel)
Either way, thanx for the video 👍🏻🙏🏼
Thanks for video, not sure why your there but way cool to see the buildings
You look great!
I was just in Chiang Mai last November! You should have a better time in Thailand than you had in Mexico. I will be returning to Thailand this October and visiting the southern islands.
Morgan homme! Good stuff
The bales come mainly from Karachi, prior to that no doubt mainly from the States. Enjoyed the video. Thailand is rapidly becoming a Thing in the US Vintage world, the secret is out.
You have a gleam in your eye and a spring in your step.
Thailand is beautiful. You can live there cheap. People are so nice. I have a lot ideas
So what's the deal with Grunt style? Ok, they're a vero brand now, but just curious as to the disdain? Is there something else going on with the brand?
They are just one of those kinda "Murica" brands that over glorifies guns. Napalm was a flammable gel that was used in Vietnam and Cambodia during the Viet Nam war that was designed to stick to its victims while it burned hence the tacky poor taste of the tee, especially so close the scene of the war crime, as it were.
What's the issue with that tee shirt?
Matt hows the shoulder and your health?
Nice. Chanel name idea, Live a Life
Ugh i must be old - you did not know The Knack!
Had a feeling you would end up in Thailand next. Enjoy
Location?
northeast of the center theres a couple better stores.. made half of my flight back already..
How did all those vintage shirts from America get to Thailand? Is there any special reason?
tyler the creator is one of the biggest pop stars on the planet. i'm not a big fan of him either... but pretty notable when mentioning golf wang in reference to context.
Take us birding again please.
That's awesome they have a bin there!!
Woah - Franks Mini Mart in Cotati. Grossest Deli EVER. Still exists ~ new owners and probably still gross 😂
do you sort for other people resellers because you good
💯🔥
Safe travels

Seems like you've gotten more comfortable with the talking to the camera in public.
grunt style must indeed pay the ultimate price
What happen? Why are they vero now?
Also curious, if the shirt shown wasn’t bad enough lmfao
🙂👍🥳
😬
lol gonna hit vegan Berlin -- will be sooo fat
My parents have a neighbor who in that same city
5:13 "It was a decent resale brand and then they went weiro(?)" What's weiro?
Vero
Ip complaints
@@sueellenmcgoey6095 i'm still lost :) what are vero and lp complaints?
You should have gone with the Hulk Hogan shirt destruction. 😂 America is such a young country and we are missing a lot of the ancient culture that they have in Asia. I'm looking at going to the Philippines towards the end of this year.
fuck everybody is going to tailand lately
Enjoy the "massages"!
Been to Thailand 8 times when I was in the Navy 1987-1991
