    Backgrounds are so important to me (a lot of times I don’t want to cover them with anything-but that would be counterproductive). I think that’s part of the reason your art is so appealing; you take such care and time with your backgrounds and let them be a substantial part of your composition.

      Yael Berger you can use a fork, a comb, ... but you can find this kind of scraper at the art store

    hello, is this journal an altered book that you removed some of the pages, then glued the remainder together????

      Hi Beverly, yes it is an old book, but I leave the pages in there and just out one here and there and glue what needs to be glued :)

      do you start in the middle, or at the front/back.....does it bulge when all the pages have been used???

    The quickest way to turn a beautiful work of art into something trite is to ad a text block. 😑
