A Anitta é Brasileira, nós no Brasil falamos Português e não em Espanhol.
Porém, como é uma música que visa o mercado musical internacional, ela está cantando apenas em Espanhol e Inglês, assim como o TXT não está cantando em Coreano, mas sim apenas em Inglês (justamente por serem duas das linguagens mais faladas no mundo). É uma estratégia que visa ligar dois mercados musicais (latino e asiático), e também expandir para outros. E sim, tem bastantes referências do Michael Jackson no clipe, tanto nos passos de dança quanto nos vocais.

Thank you, I was thinking this. Okay she is Brazilian and most likely speaks Portuguese (sorry, I don't know her well at all) but why couldn't she also be able to speak/sing in Spanish? It looked like Spanish to me since I could read it fairly easily (Spanish is my 2nd language) although we, Kpop listeners, know how sketchy subtitles can be sometimes 🙄. But I just found it strange that Spud Buddies were discussing this; just got a little chuckle out of it. ☺
@@donitapolk9413 Sim, as legendas enganam demais nas traduções de músicas com mais de uma linguagem, porque as traduções nem sempre se encaixam/não tem tradução, ou não tem o mesmo significado de uma linguagem pra outra (falsos cognatos). Um exemplo de falsos cognatos bem famoso por aqui da sua língua pra nossa: "Costume". Vocês usam essa palavra para se referir a fantasias de vestimentas, mas a palavra "costume" aqui significa o que vocês chamam de Custom, que são hábitos que as pessoas tem. Já em questão de tradução inexistente, a palavra "saudade" que usamos demais aqui no Brasil a todo momento, o mais próximo que dá pra traduzir na sua língua é "miss you", como se estivesse sentindo falta da pessoa (por questão de estar distante, quando lembramos de um ente querido, etc). Não tem tradução e nem o mesmo peso, porque "saudade" seria um "miss you" bem mais intensificado.

Check out their new album The Name Chapter: Freefall that just came out 2 days ago. This song (TXT ver) is on it. The title song Chasing That Feeling follows the last song (Farewell, Neverland) from the last album. They said that song is about how "They escape an irresponsible paradise and sore to reality for freedom. It is about their determination." As a director, you will probably appreciate the video a lot; they got to film it partly in New York. The key words for the album concept are: Gravity, Reality, Melancholy & Clarity. The whole album is good and worth a listen. They have rock, new wave, disco and more, so it's fun to listen to.
The entire thing is MJ inspired, lol. The classic black and white suits, but modernized. Like 90% of the choreo... lol... the Smooth Criminal lean, the hat tilt, the one leg kick w crotch grab combo...the center pose at the beginning of the dance break is from his This Is It tour.. the vocal inflections, the adlibs... MJ would be proud.

@7:30 in your reaction, Capn, picture TXT wearing hats and pushing the hat toward their face plus the "Woohoo" right at that moment, PLUS Taehyun in that glittery jacket right up front, all they need is a one-gloved hand to me. The choreography is chock full of bits of MJ-esque movement. I like the song and the mv, it doesn't tell a story much but it could double as a performance MV too. Anyways, hi Furt Furt!🙋🏾

This is one of my fav TXT songs, MV. I would not be surprised if this hits high on the charts. I love the song choreography, concept, art direction, etc al. Sadly, I don't think it needed Anita. But I never like featured persons in anyone's MV. Edit out Jack Harlow. Really did not like him or his lyrics in 3D.
